Cool narrative game, don't think I have played anything similar during the jam. I feel like some decisions are a bit too similar to each other so it dosn't make you feel like you have impact but I liked how it's structured and the way story is told.
Aww, what a nice story!
My only complaint is I was hoping there was going to be some minigame in the middle where we cast aside the somber narrative for a moment and get embroiled in some stupid, silly competition XD
But I liked it, very nicely done! :)
Really enjoyed the story, very compelling. Very cool to see something like this in an isometric 2D view, that seemed pretty unique to me.
Very FUN and UNIQUE idea on this game! AWESOME WORK!!! This was a fun challenging game. Loved it.
Would love to see more too after the jam.
Interested story.
I played it here.
This is a pretty unique entry for me this jam. A gameplay-light, narrative heavy entry. The pensive, forlorn music goes well with the context, and some conversations strike resonant with anyone who's been/ is in a relationship. An introspective, reflective piece. The aesthetics was also another strong point, great that there were different settings for different scenes.
Engaging story, and nice look and feel, good work. Only played it once tho, the options were very similar so I dont know how different the endings would be. Bustling coffee shop... only 2 ppl in it, no staff or anything :)
I love the story in this, I am sure you put lots of effort to make this!
Well done getting your story across I really felt it :)
This game is definitely all about the story.
A story about how broken people hide their insecurities, and how, if you're lucky enough, when those insecurities are exposed, that there is someone there to help you through it.
I went back to see if there were multiple endings, but it's either decided earlier in the story or there is only one ending. Either way it is a good story.
Thank you for sharing it.
I wanted to put multiple endings in but couldn't because of tech problems but would definitely do it after the jam.
thanks for playing.
It really is a nice story, multiple endings would make the decisions we make have meaning, but I felt that part of the point to it was that for most of the decisions that there wasn't a "right" answer to give. You had to go through the bad, to find the good.
thats a great vision actually and I had that in mind too but also want to give it more endings.
I'm not crying! Stupid ninja always cutting onions.
That's an awesome game. Thank you for this entry.
Thank you for playing it.
YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB AT THE STORY. DEFINTELY WORK ON IT MORE so you can publish later on hopefully :DDDD
Thank you. - Captain Bushfire
thank you very much for playing. I would work on it after the jam.
Very good story and fun twist on the theme! Great Job!
It's not my taste but this was good interpretation of the theme. Very unique submission and good aesthetics
Loved the story. Game looks great and the music is spot on. The incorporation of the ‘Last Stand’ theme through the couple’s struggle to find balance amidst conflict was very unique.
thanks for playing and understanding the game.
lovely visuals, and a touching story. also, the music was perfect. Cheers!
Really nice looking game! You can see that alot of efort has been put into it and it shows in the result. Great work!
A really nice experience. True. I liked it.
Really cool game that took me by surprise. I think it takes a lot of guts to tackle a serious and emotional topic like this with a game jam game and you did an excellent job.
