thank you so much for the feedback! I’m so glad you enjoyed the game, and I really appreciate the encouragement :)

Very cute concept, and I love the added mechanic of needing to match your color/size to the platforms. Nice job!

This is such a cute game and you executed the growth / shrinking mechanics so well! I really love how it looks when you shrink into the smaller world or grow into the regular world. Nice job :)

This is such a great game. Very cleverly designed levels and unique mechanics, and the music is fantastic as well. Awesome job!

I really loved this game. The concept is very unique and I really enjoy the idea of creating your own terrain in a platformer. I'd love to see this idea developed even further. Great job to the team!

That is a great compliment, thank you so much for the kind words!

Thank you so much!

This is a very fun and well polished game, I love the concept. Nice job!

Very cute game! And the platforming is very well done, nice job!

This is a very cute concept, I enjoyed this a lot and can definitely see it as a great multiplayer game!

This is super polished for a game jam game, nice job! I loved the music and sfx so much, and the visual style was great as well. Nice job!

Very neat concept, I enjoyed it quite a bit! At first, I was confused which ship I was, so I think maybe coloring the player ship differently than the rest would be helpful. Once I figured that out, I had a lot of fun. Nice job!

Nice game! I like the concept a lot. It was a tiny bit confusing for a moment, but when I figured out what was going on, it became very fun. Nice job!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much for playing the game, I really appreciate the kind words! I definitely want to keep working on and improving the concept.

Such a cute concept for a game! It's very fun to play and it could even be a good educational tool for geography.

Thanks so much for playing, and thanks for the feedback. The game definitely needs some polish and definitely some checkpoints!

I loved this game! Super cool style and aesthetic that all align perfectly. I particularly loved the music, it definitely fits the theme and helps you get into the zone. In terms of gameplay, the movement is nice, and I love that you can hop between the top and bottom of the screen. Nice difficulty as well. I'd love to see this idea expanded upon with new obstacles / mechanics. Great job!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I wanted the player to become the size of an ant so I'm glad that worked out lol

Unfortunately I missed the rating period for your game, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed it! I really liked how floaty the movement / jumping was and I liked how you could basically freeze in mid air during a jump-- that's not something you see too often. Only things that stuck out to me that could be improved is the dash is a bit too fast / made me feel like I lost control and also it'd be great to see some particle effects or something when you hit an enemy. Other than those small things I had a really great time with your game! Also I really really love the way you did the background layers, it made the game feel very dynamic and alive.

thanks for coming back to the game!! I’d be honored if you include my game in your video! Please send me the link when you’re finished :)

thanks so much for playing! I would definitely like to update the enemy behavior / pathfinding but I have a lot to learn in that department haha. Thank you so much for the feedback :)

I definitely agree that reset should be mapped to a different key, thanks for bringing it up! It was a last minute decision, so I definitely didn’t think it through. Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

Thank you so much for playing! I really appreciate it :)

wow thank you so much!! That is a very nice compliment, thank you for playing my game :)

thank you so much! I’m sorry about the escape button, it should be mapped to a different key certainly, but it was a last minute addition. Thank you for your feedback, I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the game :)

thank you so much for playing!

thank you so much, I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed the game! I really like the idea of a difficulty system like that because I am somewhat attached to the game being difficult, and I think some players will really enjoy overcoming that challenge, but many others can’t get past the first few rooms and I’d like them to experience more of the game. So I think the best balance is a difficulty setting like you mentioned. Thank you again!

these are great ideas! I definitely wanted a progression system / different spells, but I unfortunately couldn’t fit it in before the jam ended. Also I think you’re right about the dash, the iframes need to be extended a bit. Thank you for your feedback!

Anything having to do with penguins means I'm INVESTED! But seriously, your game is fantastic! It controls so nicely and is very charming as well. I really appreciate how smooth the movement and especially the jumping is. Great concept for a game-- penguins are really living every day like it's a last stand lol. Nice job :)

Thank you so much for playing and especially for your enthusiasm for the game. I just updated the game so that the early stages are a bit more balanced/ fair, but the game is definitely still challenging. Thank you so much!

Really well made tower defense game. I love the variety on display here and I was hooked on your game for a while :) great job!

This game is honestly super impressive! The fact you have a level select and several characters as well as a flag customizer is amazing! Also the game feels great to play! I would like to see a little more visual feedback when hitting an enemy-- like maybe particles or a flashing sprite when they get hit. Great job on your game!

I've been going through as many games as I can too! There's definitely a lot haha! I just updated my game today if anyone would like to play! :)

This was a very funny and cute game and the visuals / music were very well done. I do wish there was a bit more to do in the game, but I like the humor and the little playground you've set up for the player here. Nice job!

Thank you so much! I'm very happy it feels good to play and that it has a compelling gameplay loop. Thanks for playing :)

Cool game that is very fun to play! I would like to see a boost button for the movement but overall great job!

Thanks for bringing the bugs to my attention! And thank you for playing!

This game is my JAM! I love anything first person medieval combat focused, and I had a lot of fun with this. Also it is such a unique concept! I would love to see this project developed a bit more. If I may make some suggestions, I would love to see the controls tightened a tad bit and also (just a small thing), the sound effect you used to indicate that you hit an enemy is a sound I associated with a blocked attack, so at first I was confused if my attacks were going through or not. I could see this game being a super fast paced Quake-esque game but with swords. Definitely one of my favorite games from this jam. Nice job!
