I think it should have more save points.
I've never felt so self-conscious about writing a comment, that in itself makes your game a winner.
yeah I actually wanted to make one more save point inside the level. The problem was that it has to be meaningful with the story and the loop, and i could not find a good place in the few time i worked on this (3 evenings only😑). Save point is harder than it seems unfortunately.

Yeh in making that comment I saw the same issue in that it has to be a sensible place to put it, the other option I guess is to always go back two or three steps in dialogue so there's a penalty but not such a harsh one.
Congrats on completing the jam! I thought it was amusing. It would be nice if there was a way to mark of conversation choices you've already explored. Also space bar to continue would speed things up.

An interesting idea. Frustrating to the point it was hard to even get to the game. which was the point I get. I could see this being pretty fun with some more polish and time.
Thanks for playing! I know the game can be frustrating, I assumed not everyone would have liked it. But I know that there are people out there that can't help themselves into avoiding self-pain :D so I made this game
A pure story experience.
Rare during a game jam but always very very enjoyable!
I think the game is perfect as is, but what could help people get to the end faster or at all is highlighting dialogue options you died to already. Just a thought!

also: thanks again for pointing out the "harware acceleration" setting in browser in the gamedev.tv chat - it lead me to releasing my game in webGL finally! (*wink* *wink*)
Yeah I know it can get frustrating, sorry! I took into account that some people would have not get into the platformer level :)
And no problem for the suggestion! It's pretty common, lots of people don't know about this issue

Yes I know there is lacking of visuals. I should also add few SFX, like jumping, dying, etc. I wanted also to add a voice that says "Frank..." When he calls you, and few other polish. However, past week i was on vacation with family, so for the jam i went for lowest scope as possible: text based, good story (hopefully), some fun, and few visuals. I spent time on music instead.

Looks good now. In the future, note that the Library folder is automatically re-generated on each person's computer, so there's no need to include it when sharing source in jams, other developers, etc.
