I still managed to find a spot somewhere at the rim of the map where I could fall off into the void (and I guess there would be more to find...)
Maybe if you added a safety-net plane under the level that would respawn the player (or at least detect the death condition and trigger a game-over) when collided with would be a simple solution to at least prevent the game from breaking...
And maybe change the game's page so you don't have a screen-width of place-holder for the game to start in when eventually the player would probably go to full-screen to play anyway...
Moving and jumping worked fine with a PS3 controller, but there was no way to turn around. Please consider adding input processing for a secondary thumb-stick for it.
I found this game quite Mooooving. ,.... :D
Great SFX :).
Muuuuuuu, I'm eating corn in the shadow of the killer tractors :D excellent, funny sounds 👍
Loved the sfx! No doubt the audio is the best part of this game.
(Complaining moo)
Ok, the setting is pretty original, too!
great submission, lots of fun and the sounds are awesome. Mooo. hhahhaa
Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! This was pretty fun and with some polish and adding some other mechanics and things to it I could see this being a fun little game. I bet Goat Simulator started out as something like this. Nice job and thanks for joining my livestream while I played it.
Still laughing at the sounds of the cow. Fun game and well done!
Well that was interesting. The cow felt a little twitchy to control at first, but once I got used to the sensitivity, it worked pretty well. The movement might be a little broken - pressing forward and to the side seemed to move you faster than in a single direction. I got my score to 1000 before curiosity got the better of me and I tried to pickup a tractor. It did not end well for the poor cow. I will also never unhear that pumpkin pickup noise lol. Great job on this game! Well done!
Also, the game could have used a little bit of background... moosic
It is a very original game!! Muuuuu!! Good work!
Ummm what did I just play???
If I put aside the complaining cow and the phantom tractors I can say that the controls worked well, the items spawned correctly, I didn't fall through anything and it was easy to play.
Good job on one of the strangest games I have played in this jam!
I don't understand...
loved the complaining moo sound the cow made when I would ran into those pumpkins lmao. Nice game and well done.
Pretty cool concept running around as a cow.
I did notice any direct puzzle to solve. After 1200 points I still felt invincible. I would have wanted the tractors to hunt me down, that would make my heart rate go up a bit.
It's a cool concept, good job and keep it up :)
I actually loved that the tractors were not out to kill you on purpose. That makes it for a non-violent game that with time still gets harder (slowly though).
I didn't quite understand the pumpkins, though. Were they just for the extra audio effect?
Interesting, I did not think about it as a non-violent game. I like your idea of thinking outside the box.
I think the pumpkins gives you an increase of speed for a short period of time,
I think that this game was the product of your experiments with the Unity 3d environment. You really managed to get it work! Well done. Can you speed up the animation frame rate?
I love the moo sound! World also look good and great humor overall!
I love the idea, love the sound, but the game has some problem with the collision of corns and a fall under the map glitch
Thank you for letting me know, it has to do with the way the colliders interact with the sub-par controller. I think I could have spent more time with the player controller, but alas, I was short on time :) Thank you for the kind words and moving forward, player controllers will be better :)
The tractor and mooing sounds :D
I fell through the ground in a couple places (the open barn reliably). Good work!
Thank you for pointing out the location you were having reliable issues with. This will be improved upon in future developments. I knew the player controller had issues in this game, however time constraints never allowed me to revisit that aspect. Future games will be an improvement :) Thank you for playing!
You are getting 5 stars for moo-d, what a fun game.
How many beers did it take to come up with this idea?
Do we ever really count how many beers? LOL
I laughed too... It sounds like it gets inserted somewhere 😆 Nice level design , great humour good bit of fun. I want to be a part of your next project! 😆 😆
Thank you so much!
