Have to say the inclusion of that settings page screenshot rose my suspicions quite a bit :D And the lack of in-game screenshots gave me old 80s cover art vibes too.

It clicked finally when I heard the in-game music though it took a while :) c64 here but respect for teh speccie too (playground war is over)
I salute you for actually having the balls to enter the jam with this. Ironically fits the theme. ;)
I was getting annoyed by the unskippable "3D weather FX" scene, but then came the gameplay FX. That more than made up for it , and then the end screen.... AWESOME.
I'm a bit sad for the team, but this made me laugh. IMHO epic job.
Don't think I've seen such a 4th wall break in a game jam like this one before, really well done playing around the theme!
