This was really fun. The difficulty ramped up at a nice pace and it was fun killing the evil space bunnies. The soundtrack didn't quite match the gameplay for me but whatever. Its impressive how many platforms yall covered! I've never seen a loading screen for an HTML5 game like that before either.
Super polished and super fun.
Wow epic game!
Really loved the character models/animations. They were so smooth and full of character! I think maybe the whole game might benefit from being just a bit faster, but thats just a personal preference. Nice work!
The game is pretty fun! I really like upgrading between the rounds :) Good job on the visual design, seems like you put in a lot of effort in making rabbit animations, it sure looks gorgeous!
If you want to improve on the game, I feel like the audio could do with a little love, such as making the rabbit death sound slightly less intrusive, and adding more "gamey" sound effects when you're firing, hitting rabbits and upgrading - just to make the audio even more juicy and satisfying :)
note that the game's audio is really good! but I just think there's a few things you can do to make it even better :) cheers!
Nobody should die from a rabbit horde!
Nicely done, and in Typescript too..
Made it to round 17 :D
The game feels balanced, not too easy and not too hard. The music is awesome!
I didn't like the movement, it feels weird, shooting was off, it doesn't really follow the mouse direction, maybe because of the camera tilt, the radar feels off, maybe because of the camera angle and you really have to be on top of the carrots to be able to pick them up.
Just some feedback, I really enjoyed this one! 👍👍👍
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I wish I had more time to fix the shooting rotation. I'm guessing the movement was probably weird due to the camera tilt and pressing 'w' moved you in an angle in relation to the camera. Anyways, I really appreciate the feedback! Also, zhixson has the record I think, he made it to round 22 lol.
Great concept, simple and fun to play! The bunny dying sound effects are still haunting me.
It did skip frames/run a little slow for me at points (Firefox 1080ti w/ hardware rendering enabled).
Really enjoyed it! Just the sfx were a bit off. But good joob!
Thanks for the feedback! Your the first one that mentioned the sfx being off. Usually I'm playing on Chrome and I didn't notice anything. Thanks for playing!
Loved the gameplay, minimap is a nice feature, upgrade feature is good, art is excellent, like the music (very Doobie Brothers), but didn't like the screeching rabbit sound, that got annoying after a while.
One of the most polished looking games so far and of course its cute.
Thanks! I hear you about the rabbit screeching sound. It was surprisingly hard to find free sfx that worked with rabbits lol.
A pretty simple yet fun game. I love the design choice of this game a lot. I don't like the art style of the game, but it made the rabbits look ugly and made me want to kill them more lmao. Ingenious design. The mini-map helped balance the game and spreading of carrots gave players an incentive to move around.
Overall, a pretty good shooter.
Thanks! Yeah, we didn't want the bunnies to look super cute. You have to shoot them after all! Thanks for playing!
Lol death by rabbits :) Very nice little game.
Thanks! We spent a lot of time brain storming different ideas, but we got on the idea of having rabbits in some way pretty early. Thanks for playing!
Wow - very fun and a good challenge. This game has the same issue my twin stick prototype has, the aiming isn't consistent, it changes slightly depending on the angle. It's a common issue and easy to play around it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah the aiming is probably the one regret I have with the submission. I tried to get the math right, but it just wasn't working 100% with the model, and we ran out of time ( pun intended :) ). Thanks for playing!
Amazing art and really solid gameplay! having the carrots spawn around the map gave you a good reason to move around and the reward for collecting them was perfect.
I couldn't move around when I was using firefox but chrome worked fine. I don't know if thats just a random bug for me.
Thanks for the feedback! That's a strange bug, I haven't encountered that one before. I'm glad you got it to work on chrome though! :)
Best Audio so far!
Thanks! All the music is from bensound, which I highly recommend.
First of all the loading screen was amazing :D Love the bunnies, was actually rooting for them!! Such a great game and the feel of it was nice, but mostly the art work made an impression on me!
Thank you! I agree with you about the bunnies. That squeak sound when you hit them made me want to hug the rabbits instead of kill them! lol
great work guys, with beautiful artwork
Thanks! Our artists did an amazing job!
Really cute game! I'm really impressed with the splash artwork! It's really well done! Got to round 5 before those dirty rabbit bastards overwhelmed me. Really awesome survival game though, the carrot currency and rewards are a nice way to make the game a little easier because those rabbits are pretty fast. Surprisingly a lot of tactics involved in the purchasing phase of the game, I was sweating because there were situations where I needed health but couldn't decide between using my carrots to upgrade my dude or buy health when I desperately needed it. Useful / good purchasing options provided too. The controls are smooth and the music fits with the aesthetics. The mini-map was a great idea, it was very useful deciding where to go with the ability to see where carrots / rabbits are off-screen. The controls are very smooth and responsive. the polish is also overall pretty nice too. Great work!
Thank you!!! zhixson did an amazing job on the splash artwork. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
This is just incredible work guys. GG ;)
Thanks so much! I made a comment on your page too! Great Job!!!
