It's like Fruit Ninja does a math puzzle!  First impression: surgical Fruit Ninja. Each level presents you with an object to slice. Falling slices carry precise weights used to balance the weight of a chocolate bar on the side. The closer the matching weight, the more stars you get.

This is a way better description of the game, I will have to steal it :) , Thank you to the all the staff at phaser studio for the work you do!

This is a very cool idea for a game and it works very well. I am not sure if it is only my PC (I did play this on my game dev. PC and not the FPS gaming PC), but the performance was not very good. It lagged quite a bit.
One thing which was not so intuitive was that always the smaller piece falls off. So sometimes it was the top piece. For me it would have felt more natural if only the lower piece would fall of, but I am not so sure if this is easy to achieve. It might not be clear which piece should fall of when people cut more vertically. Was the weight not fully linear? I had sometimes the feeling that the weight dropped more even the piece was almost the same size as the last piece.

Anyway, still a very cool game and congratulations to this unique and innovative game! Well done!

This one hits that sweet spot—relaxing but still makes the brain work a bit. Loved the clean look and how satisfying the slicing felt 🍍✂ I did end up replaying a couple levels just to get that perfect cut… totally worth it! 🙌

If you get a chance, check out my two games too and drop a rating—would mean a lot, buddy. Good luck with the jam! 🚀

The game play on this is off the charts.

Ok listen up people: what is brilliant here is different vALUAtions of Size of Cut because the Sensitivity is Up when the size of the Piece on the Left is Down. It's almost a topological discussion on Consumer Price Index in the middle of inflation woes lol.  Also: how many games can be said of them that some math major in college sub-specializing in the dark art of Topology can say "hey, they're playing my song!"

It's a little challenging to note that not all possible stretchings of the cutter allow cuts...,maybe a little more explanation around that or maybe the game was just legit not bug-tested for that in all-cases.

At any rate I definitely gave this high marks for innovation and gameplay! Way to go!

Gave you an itch follow, if you like the things on my page(s) consider doing the same.

Cool concept, and really pleasant to play.

I managed to break it almost immediately by slicing off the top of the mango instead of the bottom. The sliced bit stayed on top of the floating chunk right up to the end, then as luck would have it, it fell off after the game-over bit had started and looked like it was trying to game-over twice. (it zoomed in to the scale, with the modal still open, prompting to tap, but would not accept a tap).

Very fun, very comfy experience! Not sure where you got the idea (you actually told us lol), but I love it! I never thought I would enjoy a game about slicing and weighing things!

Balance is a bit of a stretch here, but the game is so fun and entertaining that I don't care! I'm a little glad you put it on the easier side but it would be nice to have more levels to get more challenging.

Great job!

I liked the game and its concept. However, the game was a bit slow. I don't know if that was my fault or the game's, but overall, I had fun! Well done!

I finished the game, but it was laggy overall, I still enjoyed it. I got all 3 starts on everything, was looking forward to an end screen.

Cool entry! I think it could have benefited from a few more mechanics or interaction. Maybe having different cutting tools with a limited number of uses? Just to make it more interesting/challenging. Congrats!

This reminds me of a game called a little to the left! The Idea of balancing weight works so well. The music is also really calming. I could sit and play for hours <3
Would love if you could go check out my game, Load it up!

Okay, the concept is very cool, very smooth and pretty polished too! I would have wished more levels and difficulties! Congratz

I got one minor issue: at lv 2, the part disconnected was the top part too.

Thank you for your feedback :)

I could have communicated to the player better, for now the part part which stays hanging is the larger part of the sliced object, it is fair for you to say the part at the bottom should be the one falling down ,will iterate on it

Game is awesome, very intuitive and simple to play had 0 issues getting into it. One thing I would do is put more emphasis on the amount of moves being used so that you are encouraged to use as few cuts as possible. A bug I came across is when I would cut the gold directly in half horizontally the part that disconnected was the top half so it wouldn't end up falling and just stay stuck up there. Overall though, great game!

I will refine the slicing mechanic physics further.
