  • Battery Mage is 3D ARPG game where you try to re-power the land as a mage. Controls are nice, you can swap between weapons and use potion. Indeed interesting concept to be chased on!

I didn’t know that you could make a 3D game using phaser! Well done! where can I read about this?

The power aspect where your attacks activate the terrain was a really great touch. Bouncy around on tiles was lots of fun. I struggled with the collision detection on attacks and I was not really sure exactly what I was supposed to be doing, but it was still fun to mess around in despite that. Nice job!

Nice job on making a 3D game with Phaser. I really liked the combination of tools your choose for your game. Making a 3d game game be difficult, but I felt this was pretty easy to get into with the controls. Nice job!

Making a 3d game in Phaser is really impressive. There's some nice music. The idea of freeing the land with your magic power is  interesting. I think to bring the game to the next level, there could have been a bit of story (inside the game) to explain why we're doing what were doing. Also, the enemies feel a bit spongy at times, and it would have been nice if there was some sound affects to give feedback on projectile impacts. Good game, congrats on your entry.

Really interesting 3D environment. I love the choice to make chess pieces be enemies. Pretty relaxing gameplay going around zapping things.

GREAT GAME!!

3D game in Phaser is very impressive! There is a lot of cool stuff going on but I didn't find the actual gameplay that interesting, it is a little repetitive and grindy. I am not sure if I was missing something. Great work and I hope you will continue working on this!

Very interesting for the amount of time we were given. Good stuff.

Cool game. It's an innovative idea! If there is a tutorial in game will be better because at the first time I didn't know how to collect coins.

Hi!

Quite innovative and interesting. I would probably like a little more balancing of the game, because collecting coins to get better weapons is a bit boring :). It would also be nice to have information about the controls in the game itself. Overall good, congratulations!

Fun indeed, check out my play through

It's really cool how you made a Phaser game into 3D!

Very cool games! I enjoyed the 3d visuals and the chess piece enemies. I also liked the gameplay, nice job!

very unique game concept, I really enjoyed the lightning sparks that the wizard would shoot.

Chill music, and a lot of content. I’m not sure what to do, but I ran towards the huge monster and died quite quickly.

nice graphics and interesting gameplay/grinding mechanic.

Very nice entry and I am always impressed by the 3D games in this jam. I played this on my "office PC" (and not the gaming PC) and it ran pretty smooth. I really liked the 3D models of the mage and the castle. I also like that you can shoot on the ground to get coins and move the tile up.

Maybe you could add a a preloader (if not already present) with a loading bar, so that it loads everything in advance. This might help to get rid of the stutters in the beginning or at least show the player that something is loading. At some point in the game I was not able to hit the enemies anymore. Even if I shoot them directly they did not lose any health.

Anyway, congratulations to this impressive entry! Had fun playing it!

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. Title screen, control binding, preloading, ironing out collision bugs, and more were on the chopping block, but like many, I ran out of time.

A 3D game built in phaser, you earn a medal only for that. It need work, but nice. Keep going work on this.

I quite agree about the difficulty in aiming at the enemies, but hey, making a 3D game with Phaser, which seems to be rather well optimized plus it’s really strong, well done! I really liked saving the world from the king who hoarded everything for his 64K TV !

It's very hard to hit the enemies. Also, what are you supposed to do? Good work though!
