I can tell there was a lot planned for the dialogue and events systems for the game. I haven't seen many game jam games before that use recent AI tools for the art, so that's pretty interesting! There were a lot of choices to pick straight from the start, which did feel a bit overwhelming.
Are the graphics AI-generated? It seems like it. The music is good I think it draws excitement at the beginning. When I saw the possible paths, I was overwhelmed with a lot of areas to go for. But then ended immediately after a few conversations so that make sense. I think it would be too ambitious to provide the whole idea, I suggest you start with one area first just to finish the main game loop.
Played the game! It was weird finding a highly detailed visual novel game here! I tried even the last game where you use time in the encounters. I would like to know more about this game in the future.
Love the outer space, intergalactic civilization vibe!
This is such a cool and different sort of entry for this jam! Even though it is pretty much all text based with static graphics, I get a very Mass Effect sort of vibe from it!
You must have put a lot of time and effort into all of the writing and systems for all the content you have created and for what the game does with your character and story stats and info!
As much as I liked it, I did end up feeling bored here and there while reading text and going through some of the tree choices. If you could end up adding more breaks between these or possibly some more dynamic elements I think that would be great! Mini games might work, but there is probably a better way that I can't think of right now.
Either way, love the submission and would love to play more, especially when there are events integrated in and goals/quests to be completed.
It would be great if I can figure out the path to the ending.
And also art style consistency would be even great.
Nice game with very good writing and nice graphics. I also like the audio which fits really to the game. Unfortuantely it does not play in a loop. Would be cool if you could scale the game for larger screens so that you can avoid the scrolling.
Had fun playing it!
Wow! I haven't seen an HTML + js game in a long time. For me, this was a pearl, that's the main reason you didn't had the time to finish it, but it's large enough to let you thinking: I want more of this game. Story, background and characters are pretty interesting. And, even when I really love the way it is working, if I am allowed, I would recommend you to jump to a visual novel editor in order that you work faster on the programming and focus on developing the story.
Congratulations!
Cool art, and the writing really adds a lot to the worldbuilding and characters. I encourage you to continue working on this!
Enjoyable story line game.
Please continue and make it a full release, has potential.
A nicely-packed world in outer space! Love it!
This was a really fun read! The setting was really well thought out. I would have loved to see where the story went
