awesome game! I like the art , and the sounds, gave me the immersive gaming experience worthy of a suspense /horror theme. The mechanics is clear and easy to understand, good replay value overall I enjoyed playing this one! congratulations! keep it up!
Thank you for your time, playing the game, I hope you enjoy it.
I really appreciate the positive feedbacks especially on the mechanics because I received several complains on that part haha.
Really like the art, sound, and music. It all came together well. I appreciate the mystery too. Really nice!
Thank you for playing the game. Appreciate the positive feedback.
Fun game!!
The details are well done and very enjoyable.
Thank you for your time, playing the game. Really appreciate the feedbacks.
Great atmosphere and loved the pixel art! It was a bit difficult to figure out what to do at the beginning and having a bit of trouble understanding exactly what the cliche was. But otherwise good job!
Thank you for your time, playing the game, I hope you enjoy it.
I wanted to put more clues and tutorial on how the mechanics work but I find it more rewarding for the player to figure it out by themselves. It's somehow backfired a bit haha.
The cliche part is the polaroid that the player collect along the way, the most obvious one would be the 'Plot Armor'.
The art is amazing and the mood builds nicely for survival horror. It's a bit hard to understand what to do at first, especially with the ghost adding pressure. Although mysterious, the little creatures are cute! Good job!
Thank you for the playing the game.
Apologize for the confusing mechanics, I wanted to put more tutorial on that part but I feel like it's more align to the horror genre to not tell the player everything. It's somehow backfired on me and I learnt my lesson haha.
Love the art style and the polaroid power up concept. Trading card horror game. Also, i love how all of the little creatures talk, it's very cute.
Thank you for playing the game. Glad you find the little creature cute, most people see it as horrifying haha.
Great art and moody sounds.
Thank you for your time, playing the game. I really appreciate all the positive feedbacks.
I love the art! For how long have you been drawing? My friend also drew the non-pixelart in our game (start Screen) and hes in for like about 3 years now. Just wondering.
Thank you for playing my little game, hope you enjoy it.
I've been drawing all my life (20++ years) but never truly invested into it because I love game development more haha.
The art is really great! I'm not too sure what to do however, I feel like I explored everywhere I was able and interacted with everything but I was never able to get any polaroid. And I couldn't trade because I never found the key. I'm not sure if there was something I missed or if it was bugged for me. But from what I got the upgrade system is quite cool, and avoiding the ghost was fun. Good work overall!
Thank you for playing the game. I'm sorry if the game seem confusing to you, I tried to make the puzzle as simple as I can without spoiling everything to the player. The description of each polaroid, the number of times you interact with the NPC and the type of polaroid you have in your inventory might help if you ever want to try it again.
Wow! it is really scary! Great job! The ghost made me nerving a lot! Nice horror
Thank you for playing my little game. I'm glad that it's somehow scary to you.
A really interesting take on a 'deck builder.' Collecting and trading Polaroids of different game cliches and using them to your advantage is a cool idea. Love seeing unusual mechanics in horror games. The music is good, and the art is clear and effective.
I hope you keep working on this after the jam results roll in! Some more sound effects and a stylized detection bar up top would be great.
Thank you for your time, playing the game. I had to tone down the overall mechanics due to time constraints, I'm glad someone understand the overall concept.
Nice job! You did great capturing the horror genre, it felt tense and eerie throughout.
Thank you ! I'm glad that the game feel like that for you. Since it's a simple 2d side-scroller, I'm having a hard time making it just a lil bit scary.
Nice art, I especially like the animation on the ghost appearing/disappearing. The trading system with pictures is a really cool concept.
Thank you for playing the game. It's pretty difficult to make a scary moment in a 2d side-scroller so that's what I come up with, I hope it work somehow haha.
Really well done! I like the use of cliches in the polaroids, that's definitely a unique take!
I did get all three endings, first #2, then #3, then #1. I will say, I like #1 best! Haha
Thank you for playing the game, hope you enjoy it. Really glad that someone recognize the cliché in the polaroid.
It looks and feels fantastic. Well done!
Thank you for your time playing this short game I made. I hope you enjoy it.
It looks fantastic and has a really nice, spooky atmosphere! I don't get at all how it relates to the theme, but it's great nonetheless.
The idea is that the ability you obtain from the polaroid is the `cliche `you mostly found in movie/game such as the "Plot Armor" allow to tank a hit while in real life you probably already be death. I hope that somehow explain it haha. Thank you for playing the game !
Fun and a bit spooky, great art. Good job!
Thank you for playing the game. I'm not sure how to spook player with still images, I'm glad to know it's somehow seem spooky.
Love the art and gameplay, also the soundtrack was very fitting! would love to see this built out further
Thank you for the playing the game. I spent most of the development time on arts so I'm glad you love it.
