I like this game, the gameplay is generally smooth and not awkward, but the ball bounces sometimes ended up reversing direction inexplicably. Other than that, I like the concept, and it adds an "exploration" element to the traditional breakout formula.

It's a fun idea, but I didn't think the two genres were mixed very well. It felt like two separate games
Thank you ๐๐พ I understand what you mean. I was thinking one way of fixing that is instead of having a paddle you can swing your sword to bounce the ball. I hope to try and implement that soonish.
The music is little bit agressive but the mix of genres is interesting !

I like the aesthetic and general feel of this a lot. In terms of style and graphics and audio I think it's very solid. To be entirely frank though the gameplay is currently very basic and boring. Would love to see what you could do to give the player more to do and more control and make it more challenging.
Thank you ๐๐พ. That's to be expected. This is still a very only prototype that I only entered to get more eyes on it. Once I have the actually breakout part the way I want it, I thought it be nice to implement power ups in the form of items (such as a boomerang or bow/arrow). Not sure how they can be used, but I'm sure I'll think of something.
Interesting mix of genres. My main issues are he ball sometimes bounce in random directions and I don't feel like I have control over where the ball will go after hitting paddle.
