Reminds me of binding of issac, which is one of my favorite roguelikes.

Could expand on the game by adding astrology signs. But would be interesting if, like in boi, your appearance changes depending on what you took.

I really liked the art and music.

Also liked how you choose your ability.

Very nice look. The mutation idea is fun.
More juice would help player action feel impactful on the world and could dramatically improve the gameplay experience i.e. screen/enemy flash on enemy hit, particle fx, screen shake, hit/death sfx, motion trails, adaptive music (e.g. more intense when you're close to death)

Developer

Appreciate the feedback! We definitely would have liked to include a lot of those things given a little more time,  and we hope to do so in a later version potentially.

It's always difficult to get that extra flair into a jam game, so I completely understand. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

Amazing game, love the art and the animation!! Impressive considering the time limit

Easier The Binding Of Isaac... I love it, because I suck at The Binding Of Isaac, lol :D

Amazing game, really fun to play and music fits well! :)

Great art and I love the use of the 7 deadly sins! The gameplay was pretty hard for someone not used to similar games, but that's not a downside, just an observation. Game definitely well-done :)

the art was amazing, very impressive to pull off given the time, great job

Okay, this has the best graphics in the entire jam. The opening animation is absolutely marvelous. I love how the mutations are based of the 7 deadly sins too! Fantastic work all around, I'm a harsh critic and I'm very impressed. Bravo. Absolutely amazing entry.

Great art and core game design concepts! A game with good potential for the players to try out different combinations of choices. But it was quite hard for the first few attempts. I got killed in the first 3-4 rooms for many times XD Btw, that'd be great if there is a 'restart' button.

Great art!, I really don't like this kind of, they're just not for me, but yours is awesome. Congrats!

That was Quite Good!

Art and sound are indubitably the big forces of this game. What an intro. Gameplay is more classic but well done. Great game.

The visuals of this game are amazing :). The gameplay reminded me of Battling Madness by Blackthorn prod. Its  a nice take on the theme. Good job

good one very enjoyable!  but it comes hard at you, a tutorial will be great.

Amazing art and fitting sound. Really liked the mood and the animated short in the beginning gave a great intro.  The gameplay was fun. I would only wish that it was a bit more polished. It would be nice to add a pause and restart functionality. I also managed to find a bug where you span right clicks on an envy choice card and you get multiple waves of enemies at the same time. Also, the shooting sound stays after the game ends. But overall it's a lot of fun to play, you've done a great job!

Developer(+1)

Ah jeez we will definitely look into that envy bug, thank you for finding that. We're glad you enjoyed the game as a whole regardless!

I really like this game! I love the art and the overall mood! The gameplay is very simple, but fun and well made! My only complaint is that I don't see where the monsters will spawn. They just appear at the begginning of every wave so you don't have time to get to a safe spot. Overall all really loved this, nicely done!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We do wish we would have had more time to polish enemy spawning, but we do give the player invincibility frames at the start of every level to give them a chance to get to safety. We would definitely love to add those features in a post-jam version though.

Wow! I loved the art on this one. As others have said, it reminds of of the Binding of Isaac. The room feels a bit crowded at times, but it was still really fun. The art and animations made it such a treat.

The gameplay is pretty fun and engaging, great variety of upgrades and enemies. Also I love the Isaac feel.
Oh and your artist(s) are amazing. They came up with so much in only 2 days!

Great job!

Nice game, especially the artwork. Great job!

Pretty impressive game considering the timespan, really liked the artwork. Very much a Binding of Issac clone but nothing wrong with that. I liked the choices, although some were very tough to choose between but that's the point so well done. I do think choices that remove a heart shouldn't appear if you only have 1 left. As far as the gameplay itself goes I think its a good start but there's room for improvement. The room feels a bit cramped, I think either having smaller models/hitboxes or a larger play area would make for a much more fun experience. And maybe starting with a higher base rock speed but making choices that increase rock speed more rare to balance it out. The one thing that would really benefit it though is some sort of visual feedback when an enemy is hit, even just a simple flash or sound would be helpful. There were times - especially with large rocks - that I couldn't tell what enemy was being hit or if I hit more than one at the same time because the rock just disappears and there's nothing to tell me what happened. Anyway, it was an enjoyable game and really great work for 48 hours!

Developer

We very much appreciate the feedback. A lot of the issues were due to time constraints, so we are working currently on a couple fixes for issues that have been brought to our attention (notably the hitboxes) that should be live pretty soon. Thanks for playing the game, and we're really glad you enjoyed it!
