Hi,

 nice game, played and rated.

Please feel free to try out my game here:  https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/474542

if you don’t want to play the buggy version, add to collection as I’m working on a new and bigger version.

Many thanks,

Kris

Super fun game, I had to laugh a lot everytime I hit some glass ;D The sounds were also very fitting.

Maybe you could check out and vote my game too ;)

This is actually a really cool idea! I think the biggest issue for me was that I couldn't move the camera. With the glass panes in the way, it's really hard to understand the ball's trajectory; the ball's predicted path going straight through them doesn't help much either. :/ I do think this concept is really awesome, though, and could certainly work without the glass panes and "lying". Overall, the game was fun, so good job!

A well made and pretty fun little mini golf game. I would have liked the game even more without the liar element, but okay with the jams theme in mind, this is pretty good. Well done.

Very fun idea. I had a hard time with the last hole and controls were a bit hard to use. Overall I liked the idea!

Very nice game. The theme is well placed. I with controls were a little better - like circular slider for rotation instead of a usual one.  In any case it was fun to play.

If you have time check out our game https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/475756 :)

This is a very cool game, and I really liked the aesthetic! I felt the system for setting up a shot didn't give a clear indication on where the ball was going to go (the power was much higher than where it said the ball was going to go), the sound effects were also really fitting, I think it would have benefitted from a revamp in the whole ball hitting system, just something like dragging backwards on the ball - sort of like the Angry Birds trajectory system! Overall, I thought that this was a really good jam entry!

I enjoyed it- was stuck on the second last hole for a while :P Clever idea and nice little twists to fit the theme :) Only thing I wouldve added was maybe hotkeys to update sliders instead of mouse drag?

Interesting idea, but execution could use some work (as evidenced by previous comments) and the theme is lacking.

The controls in this game make a relatively simple act, peculiarly difficult. You use sliders to change aiming direction, power, and shot angle. Very uncomfortable. And, the sliders have notchy increments, so you cannot fine tune the values, which for a golfing game, may be a problem.

The camera cannot be moved, so observing the terrain is effectively impossible.

The physics are unpredictable. A very high trajectory shot will produce weird rebounds when the ball lands.

Graphics are very basic, but serviceable. The UI looks terrible, as it uses default Unity assets.

There is no music and only very few sounds that don't match the events. Hitting the golf ball, for instance, sounds like a deflated basketball hitting the floor.

I know there are invisible glass panels in some levels. I think that's an attempt at the theme. Not sure it works as a "lie" for me.

Cool game !

Maybe you could have done the aiming differently because the sliders are a bit hard to move. (the wheel for the power for exemple)

Well done !

A really nice game this. I think it could be slightly clearer if the ball is lined up with the hole properly but this is a very nice game. Well done

Pretty decent golf game. I enjoyed it!
