this is aswm!!
nice work on your first time on new engine!!!
really good game I use godot and this is surprising for one of youre first time using the engien
Nice game, the enemies are very fast.. if you miss to hit them you are dead.. It was quite hard but funny.
Good Job.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
nice job, the game isnt bad but the mage guy is waaaaay too op, i was stuck on him for super long, there were also a couple bugs but not a bad game at all
I liked the audio, but other things really need some polishing, but you're aware of that. Keep going ^-^
Awesome that you are starting Godot! The game is not bad for your first try, it could definitely be more polished though. The guards do come very fast and it is very hard to hit them. I like the story though!
This game is super fun i realy enjoyed it
First of all, I think it's totally fine that the theme was involved in the plot and not the game play. Nobody ever said it had to be integrated in a specific way. Second, I think this game would benefit from an FOV change. If the camera was further from the player, they would have more time to react and it would make the game less frustrating and more fun. Love the soundtrack. Keep it up.
The pace of the game makes it super fun! Once you get used to it, the mechanic of timing your hits with the guards feels really nice, and the animations and sound make it even more satisfying. Awesome job!
I like the graphics and the killing felt good, could feel better with a crunchier sound. Otherwise just needs a little more polish but great core and like you said it was your first godot game. Good job!
Cute graphics, and I love the the speed of the gameplay! At first I was confused by the enemies coming after me, but hitting oen on time was super satisfiying.
the speed of the enemies is insane, ans the reaper is so vulnerable.
my opinion, the "rewind" should be involved into the gameplay, the game mechanic, not the plot.
anyway, congratulation on finishing your game
Great music and sound design, and the game is very addicting. The guards move at the speed of light but it's satisfying when you finally get them :D. Glad to see another Godot user, this is great for your first game, keep going!
Thanks! Though this def isn't my first game, just my first game using Godot lol
Fun game! The enemies seem to be moving slightly too fast and it would be nice if the level restarted after the player has died. A bit more polish would be nice but overall great effort! Love the cute time reaper character.
Fun little game. It gets quite frustrating, but the thing with the simple mechanic is, that the player can only blame himself for not reacting in time. I also really like the sound design, since it gives hits a nice weight, especially in combination with the "ragdoll" animation.
It fits the theme only vaguely by the story given in the game's description, but I get not wanting to mess around with complex mechanics while learning the engine.
Overall a good game. Great job!
Interesting idea! I mean it could use some polish but that's always difficult to accomplish in a GameJam.
And it was a little bit too difficult for me but I guess I'm just a noob, but maybe having like two lives would be nice 😅
Yeah, after learning the engine I just didnt have time to put in particles, ui a menu, ect... And the game could've used some balancing but it was supposed to be punishing like Hotline Miami, thanks for the feedback :)
