the most realistic simulator game I've every played

Impressive, I just got sub 44s

Hey thanks for the video, just getting around to checking my itch.io now so I'm a little bit late! My main goal with this jam was just to prototype the bouncing baseball mechanic, which I plan to use in a future commercial game. The idea for the game which it's in is actually a bullet hell rpg btw.

Yeah, you're right about the theming being an issue, I really didn't try to connect it at all lol

thanks, yeah I didn’t take the theme into consideration at all. Thanks for the review!

._.

Hey, that's actually not a bug, I just haven't implemented a lot of the settings yet, I hope to get them in soon though, did you notice any other bugs with the Linux version? I can't personally test it so any feedback is helpful

git gud

Nice job, I like the particles!

the gameplay is kinda boring, but its really nice looking and I think it incorporates the theme really well

A mission is a mission.

I think it does the theme extremely well, but the gameplay is a bit iffy, the camera probably could've used a bit more work and some of the art was a little messy, but overall pretty good

oh sorry, you can restart by hitting r

Yeah... that was an issue I found right around the deadline time, oops

The new update has a Linux version, though I have no way to test it so it might not actually work, still you can try it out here: Couch Combat by Butwhylevin (itch.io)

In the new update I added more sensitivity options (hit tab to open pause menu and then settings and controls) You should be able to adjust the controller's sensitivity much better now! You can get the new update here: Couch Combat by Butwhylevin (itch.io)

... i didn't even remember that lol

I will add better sensitivity settings in the next build, thanks for the suggestion!

Polymars really trying to give us a virus tho. On another note, its impressive how quickly a cute little incremental game turns into a psychedelic rainbow on beans.

yes

You need to use a controller and hit a to drop in the second player. You can then hit ready to continue.

Actually the best game ever. Though its pretty blurry for some reason

So its pretty good, but you can cheese most of the levels by just spamming up as fast as you can, you'll pass the cars before they can possibly reach the middle.

OH GOD NO DON'T DROP THE HOTDOG AHHHH... Um also this hotdog factory is like really bad, seriously how many radioactive hot dogs do you have to make before making one decent one?

Pretty music, but picking vibe results in certain death, thats vibe discrimination.

This is actually epic. I love the lore and the goofy movement of the character, the mechanic of winding up the ufo is really original. I was really bad at it, though I imagine a speedrun of this game would be pretty incredible. Overall just really good!

Yeah, after learning the engine I just didnt have time to put in particles, ui a menu, ect... And the game could've used some balancing but it was supposed to be punishing like Hotline Miami, thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks! Though this def isn't my first game, just my first game using Godot lol

Fun, frantic gameplay. I also love the idea!

Really, really solid. I love the artwork, though visual novels def aren't my thing, I 100 percent respect the insane amount of work that probally went into making the music, art and text.

Wow this is really hard... But also a great interpetation of the theme. Super simple game but still fun!

Yeah was planning on adding that, but I ran out of time.

Pretty nice game, I really like the cover art, and the gameplay is quite original and very "out of control." My main negative is that the music starts over every time you restart the scene, this could've been solved by using a music player object that has don'tdestroyonload on it. But overall a very nice game

It really sucks that I couldn't get the web version to build... But at least its submitted

Really one of my favorites so far. It's super satisfying, though tbh, I think the switching sides aspect kinda messes with the gameplay because I wanted to make one side win, though idk if that's even the objective of the game

I'm going to be honest, I didn't even notice the charcters switching. If they had different colors or something it might have been easier to notice. But still a nice little game!
