I thing that the acceleration of the player is a bit confusing, but the rest is perfect.

Liked the game, liked the inverted controls, though a bit challenging, but why did you use that acceleration movement, feels really bad in my opinion, and the cassette was moving to fast and I had no clear understanding on what the obstacles were when the colors shifted.

Overall it's great, but those were some things that could improve the gameplay in my opinion, hope you take it as constructive critique.

It's a good game and fits the theme nicely. The art direction is appropriate and the rewind inverse controls are a challenge but one that can definitely be overcome once you're used to the switch.

Getting to terms with the extremely slow acceleration and by contrast quite abrupt up and down movement is another story though. For me, they take a bit of the fun out of what could be a faster paced experience. But all in all it's a good entry.
