That was really hard for me, but a nice approach for theme. I also liked the music.

Nice job completing your first game jam game!  The game was a bit confusing, and it would have been nice to have what the move are on the gameplay instead of the main menu. (Because I couldn't remember what buttons moved the red boxes which way,  haha!) But solid game!

Interesting puzzle idea. it was hard to figure out at first. but great job making a unique puzzle game! Please check out my game if you haven't :D

Really loved the concept, it's very clever. Makes the player need to think carefully. But I think it would be better if you give a tutorial level to make the player understand how this game works a little bit better. I really enjoyed playing this game (^‿^)

Very hard and a but confusing, but pretty cool!

Really tricky at first, but I got the hang of it after dying a lot xD The concept is really clever, too!

Good job, and congrats on completing your first game!

I wasn't sure if I understood the puzzle well enough. I'm sure a few more tries I may have gotten better. I was getting attacked before I really knew what to do. I didn't see the "rewind" in the game, so I wasn't sure how this game applied to the theme of the jam.

Very good puzzle, I liked it!

I would really appreciate your opinion on mine as well if you have a moment.

The art style was a bit all over the place, with some cool UI while the rest was quite plain, but I liked the core concept of the game, despite being a bit obscure initially. With some more polish it could become really interesting, good job!

The puzzle is pretty interesting, it took some thinking to figure out how to move so I don't keep dying.

Have you thought about showing how the enemies will move when you press a key? Right now it's a bit hard to remember all the movement rules. Maybe you could use a system where you press a key to select your movement direction, and it would show how the enemy reacts. Then you can either press enter to confirm, or choose another direction. Just an idea, I don't know if it makes sense :)

Nice implementation of the theme, It was quite hard to understand at beginning. but after I enjoy it.

Good job.

My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks

Really cool original concept! Well done on that. Although, there still some things that can be improved or added, like proper tutorial at the start to introduce the player to the game’s mechanics. Also showing where enemies would move is pretty helpful :D Well done for a first time! Hope you try mine too https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722968

The game was fun, and I enjoyed playing it. The final game (if you make one) should have some kind of better depiction of the enemies movement, and a clearer way to show the controls.

I think the concept is quite original. People here already mentioned adding the rules in the game screen, but I think there's a way to make what's happening more discoverable. For example, if you put a delay between the player's movement and the enemy's response, and also make the enemies take a bit of time to move, it's more obvious in what direction the enemy is moving. Great job especially for a 1st timer!

Cool game idea. Nice to have background music. Some indicator for the rules in game screen would be cool.
Tip for a 1st timer: You can set the resolution in the game edit page on itch. You should search in Embed options for Viewport dimensions.

I really like the idea of this puzzle game, it's pretty original. I also like the style you went for and the music. What i think you really should improve is explaining the rules: they are a bit confusing at first. I strongly suggest you putting the rule table in the game screen. maybe under the time left, so I can check it at any time. There are also some typos in the instructions (puzzel, who knows what happened), and sometimes i got hit just by staying still at the bottom, i don't think that should happen.

For a first game, you did an amazing job

I thought when I'd finally made it across the challenge had ended, but in reality in now needed to go through the level again in reverse! Very cool game- and interesting interpretation. The music helped me focus on a proper strategy to get across~
