Very cool.  I really like the deductive gameplay, and the game is very easy to get a grasp of once you play it once.  I will say that it is pretty easy to find the perpetrator by finding the person with the lowest honesty and then finding a person with high honesty and confirming a piece of their clothing.  But still, this is cool!

Neat concept! The pixel art is nice and clear. The music fits. Gameplay is simple and easier to understand than "how to play" text makes it seem. The "truth %" mechanic made it interesting, forcing you to think about your choices.

Criticisms:

Noticed quite a few errors in grammar, and a few typos.

The gameplay doesn't seem to have as much depth as it could. It's fun for a couple of minutes. Then again, that's perfectly fine for a jam!

Neat idea for a game, I go the right culprit twice! It took a bit of trial and error to figure out how to use the Mayor though.

Good puzzle game and nice amount of logic involved in working out whodunnit.  The music was very appropriate to the game and the graphics were nice.  It wasn't really a lot about holes though :-)

I enjoyed playing it, nice work.

A little difficult to understand at first, but once you understand the mechanics it's a really fun game! I also learned to never become a detective. AMAZING artwork and audio. Unique way to look at the theme and fun mechanics! Absolutely amazing game

The game is a little confusing at first, but gets better when you understand the mechanics a bit more. In some ways it kinda reminds me of Town of Sale. Nice job!

I love this Game, the idea is fantastic I love the soundtrack I could listen to it 24/7 and the idea with the honesty meter and the confined amount of moves are really well implemented. Overall amazing game please make this into a full release with a story this could be even more amazing and I would love to see it :D

Developer

Wow Thanks! Unfortunately I have no plans for a full release or even working on this project any further. I've just started learning gamedev in the last year so I do not have the skills or experience I would need. Maybe I'll return to this idea someday, who knows :P  Glad you enjoyed it so much!

The best thing about this was the audio which complemented the art style beautifully. The game was a little confusing at first though. Still, it's a nice idea none the less. Great job :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! sorry you were confused but I hope you were able to get a hang of it

It's a bit vague, but i like it so far, you get used to it after time. good job!

Yeah I had trouble explaining it. I have never done any kind of tutorial system in a game before, so I should probably try with my next game. Thanks for playing!

This is a really interesting game concept, it's a little like board games.

I remember seeing the similar idea somewhere else, but can't recall.

I think it would be better if you can review the one you already asked, so that you won't stack a lot of information in your brain.

Anyway, good job! Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks! That is a great idea. I don’t know if I would have had time in the jam though

Had a play of your game in this video here - at 48:58 -, where I give my thoughts while I play. Hopefully it's helpful feedback.

I'm usually bad at memory games, dread them actually, but this game let me have a little confidence in my brain power. I thought the honesty system was a great addition, and added a fun bit of narrative to a session in who you decided to trust or not. Fun game overall.

If you have time I'd greatly appreciate it if you could give my game a go to, happy jamming.

Wow! thanks. Sorry the screen was cropped I didn't know that was an issue. This video helped a lot in seeing how people approach the game. The story mode which you played is actually intended for an intro to the game. The other options are the main game
