Thank you! And don't worry,  the game is made entirely during the gamejam. It's a product of multiple sleepless nights haha

Awwww that was a cute little game. I like the choice of music for it. One thing I didn't like is that the enemies had an unexpectedly long range, but that's easily fixable. Pretty good game though, I liked it.

Oh, and also... Doomguy would like to have a word with you))

Interesting experience. The graphics are nice and everything fits together well. The theme and tutorial were incorporated perfectly. Not sure why everyone says it's hard though - I found it quite easy. The layouts are not too hard to memorize and when you do, you can easily traverse them without any light. Too bad it was too short - I'd love to play more of this, maybe even with monsters or traps hidden in the dark. That would really discourage you from running around blindly.

Overall, a solid game. Great job!

I don't really see how it follows the theme or the tutorial. Adding some animations and SFX would have been nice, but you probably didn't have time for it. You did well though, keep on learning!

I didn't really get the point of the game. Not sure what happens when I pick a card and not sure if the zombies are even being hurt by the sword. I'd love to play some more if the game had a bit more polish.

A very nice little game. I loved the variety of recipes and the simplicity of it. The fact that sleeping "fee" was changing was nice too - it allowed me to bounce back from $0 a couple of times. Although I don't really get why there would be a fee for sleeping, but I'll suspend my disbelief haha.

The only thing that I didn't really like was the fact that you had to put ingredients in a specific order they're listed in. Wasted time and money just because the cheese comes after the wheat, and not the other way around.

Overall, a really nice and well polished game. A super satisfying experience. Great job!

I managed to turn Indiana James from an archeologist to a space explorer!

Jokes aside, the game needs a bit of polish, but the concept is neat. I think you could expand on that by adding more rooms and more diverse puzzles. Good job though, nice gamejam entry and fits the theme perfectly

The visuals are nice and pleasing. I loved choosing an upgrade for the bunny, although there was a bit of confusion there at first. I thought that when you pick a card, you apply the card's positive AND negative effects. It didn't occur to me that the negative effects are applied from the cards you discard. I loved the submission though - definitely in my top 3 so far!

It's unfortunate that you couldn't finish all the characters. I wanted to pick a wizard, but alas hahaha. I'd love to see you add the remaining characters and finish the game though!

I liked the style of the game. Everything felt so natural and fit into place perfectly. One thing I found a bit weird though is the button layout - Interact/Use/Drop buttons are a bit awkward and I would often get mixed up on which one does what. But overall, a very nice experience, good job!

Damn, the visuals are AMAZING! I love the style of it and the fact you can generate new worlds with different special effects. Sometimes is a bit too much, but you can always generate a new one.  Although I gotta say, I felt kinda bad killing all these blobs that were just minding their own business. They're not even actively attacking you, and you're just destroying them for the sake of it hahaha.

Overall, a really fun game. I enjoyed playing it!

Thank you

I see, thank you. Could you please answer the specific examples above though (3D and new Input system)? That's what I'm most interested in

Do I have to follow the provided tutorial word for word, or can I put my own spin on it? For example, the tutorial for this GJ teaches how to create a 2D top-down movement system. Can I use it as a basis to create a 3D top-down system? Also, can I use the new Unity input system as opposed to the old one used in the tutorial?

Hey, thanks for reaching out to me! I was finally able to test your updated version of the game. And I gotta say, right off the bat it feels a lot more polished. The menu is nicer, the gameplay is smoother and the objective is more clear. I love that you've improved on the concept and updated the game!

I don't have much to add - everything has been said already. My only suggestion would be to add an Options menu with volume sliders. Music was pretty loud and there was no way to change it haha.

Other than that, awesome job! Keep up the great work and good luck with your future projects!

An interesting idea. No clear directions on what to do, so a tutorial or a text explanation would be nice. But I liked it overall, hope you can expand on the concept!

Very interesting concept. I see myself spending tons of time playing this game. The only downside is that sometimes you get killed for literally no reason when you're attracting stuff. I assume that's because you expose your side a bit when magnetizing, but sometimes it would kill you even through the magnet. Also, the music is blasting SUPER LOUD hahaha. Would be nice to add the option to turn it down. But I enjoyed playing the game and had a lot of fun! Great submission!

A really really well-made game! I LOVED the sound design of it. Every sound felt appropriate and satisfying. Was a bit hard to understand what I'm supposed to do at first, but after a couple of tries I got the hang of it. It would be nice if there was a visual indication of "too many protons", cause right now it's hard to understand when you're okay and when you're too close. But overall a great submission, well done!

It's okay, no problem man

Yeah, I agree with your older brother. Hell map was definitely the hardest. I think it's because of the sharp turns - that's what made hell literal hell for me haha. Rainbow had a lot slower turns and even had railings to prevent you from falling, so it took like 5 attempts to beat it, whereas hell took like 50. But again, I was spamming Spacebar, so maybe that's the reason 😁

Aye, no problem man. Thank you for checking it out!

Yeah, didn't think of that before submitting... Might work on it later. Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback!

Thank you for playing the game and giving suggestions! Maybe I'll finish it and port it to mobile in the future

Already rated yours, would appreciate if you'd play mine: https://itch.io/jam/scorejam18/rate/1511013

An interesting concept, that, unfortunately, my laptop can't handle. On your GIF, the ball moves like 3 times faster hahaha. The visuals are very appealing, would maybe be nice to color walls different colors and make the ball switch colors to indicate what wall it's attracted to. I feel like that would put it more in line with the theme. Also, it would be nice if there was an indication of a button being pressed, particularly in the options menu. I was pressing the sound off buttons and couldn't figure out if it's working or not.

But overall, a very nice game, hope I could see it grow one day. Not in size though, I feel like 500 MB is more than enough 😁

I see. Best of luck to you man! Hope you get to the top!

Thank you for playing the game, your positive words, and great feedback! I'd love to improve everything you've suggested. Hope I'll be faster next time hahaha.

And yes, already on my way to play yours 😁

Very fun and interesting game. The fact that bullets hit enemies on their way back adds a new depth to it. It's intuitive, it looks great and it's fun to play! My only complaint is that the movement feels a bit too slippery and sometimes the character doesn't stop when you want them to and you die because of that. Oh and also, music level resets if you finish the game. But these are my only critiques, great game!

Thank you! I was actually going for smooth camera movement at first, but it was too janky and I couldn't figure it out in time. So had to go with the snappy movement instead haha. But I'll definitely learn it and take that into account in the future. Thanks for playing, I'll play yours too soon!

Yeah, I was actually inspired by a skyscraper building Nokia game haha. Unfortunately, couldn't add the momentum in time. But I definitely see how it would make it feel more intuitive. Thanks for playing!

Finally managed to pass it hahaha. That was a great experience. The driving doesn't feel too slippery as with a lot of driving games. The visuals are nice and the music and soundeffects are good too. I feel like the last track (not the bonus one) was a bit too hard though. Definitely made me rage a bit hahaha. But then I discovered a cheese - if you spam the polarisation button, you can drive through the magnet fields with no trouble at all. Granted, it doesn't give you the speed boost you might get from utilizing them correctly but at least I was able to pass the level hahaha. So maybe if you don't want that cheese to exist, a little cooldown on the polarization button might be nice. I guess some level redesigning too, cause the last level was super hard even with the cheese 😁

But overall, an almost perfect game! Great submission!

My game really needs some rating so I'd love it if you checked it out. I will also play your game and leave some feedback!

Here's the link. Hope you enjoy it! https://itch.io/jam/scorejam18/rate/1511013

Played and rated yours. Check out my game as well 😁

Maybe when I acquire the time stone haha. Loved your game btw 😁

Perfect from a gameplay standpoint. I didn't really find a connection to magnetism, but I feel like the game is right where it needs to be. Intuitive controls, nice visuals, cool sound design, and challenging gameplay. Great job, that's an amazing submission!

Done! Good game!

Really nice and pleasant artstyle. The menu screen and the death screen look amazing, and the background for the game looks dreamy. I didn't like some sounds though, particularly for the enemies shooting. Doesn't seem to fit them at all. And also, at first I thought that lowes tier scrap was another form of asteroids and was actively avoiding them hahaha. But overall the game impression is good, I definitely liked it!

Eyyyyy world high score! 😁
