Very interesting concept. I see myself spending tons of time playing this game. The only downside is that sometimes you get killed for literally no reason when you're attracting stuff. I assume that's because you expose your side a bit when magnetizing, but sometimes it would kill you even through the magnet. Also, the music is blasting SUPER LOUD hahaha. Would be nice to add the option to turn it down. But I enjoyed playing the game and had a lot of fun! Great submission!

On theme with nice gameplay mechanics. I liked the fact that have to be really cautious to not draw bullets towards you. I would love to have some more lives/a health bar and some power-ups. But great game with nice music - especially since you stated that it was made for the game specifically.
Great concept, fun gameplay loop and I think if the main area was lit a bit brighter I could see the pull object better. also some warning to where the people are spawning so I can have a little warning so I can react better or make a plan of attack. fun game

Really loved the concept, didn't quite understood at the beggining but after you realize how to play, its fun, i like how the tutorial is implemented at the beginning (i dont know how to write beginning, lol).
Really good game, I would just like so there was a reason to not hold down the attract button all the time lol.
Oh yeah, I mean I guess you can just hold the attract button, since repelling overwrites it. I thought you meant ONLY attracting. Also I didn't really think about dodging in that particular way. Pretty good strategy! However, all of that really only applies when there is only like 1-2 guys on screen at once. Once you get more than that, you can't just always move in the same way, and it becomes necessary to be more strategic.
Would you suggest I make any changes such that attracting isn't as powerful? I'm open to any suggestions.

Also another bug is that there's a restriction on you holding 1 gun or knife but if you don't have one you attract all of them, and then the knifes can kill you even if they hit the magnet that's the only reason I'm not 1° lol
That's not a bug, that's completely intentional. Your magnet has a weight limit of 3. Bullets have a weight of 1, knifes have 2, and guns have 3. If your magnet has reached its maximum weight, it no longer can attract any more objects. Also, the magnet itself doesn't have a hit box, nor should it.
Really, there is no reason to get so upset. I see that you're good at the game, you've now taken my #1 spot (good job!). If you think that something should be changed, I'm open to any suggestions.
Oh, don't worry I'm not upset . The only things I would change is that knifes can't kill you by being attracted from the ground( my strategy to get first place was to throw all knives away so that wouldn't happen) and add something like a bomb that explodes if you attract it, that way you can't attract foverer otherwise you just explode. Also that 1° place comment was just me being competitive no need to worry about it :).
Ok cool, just wanted to make sure. The knifes not doing damage from the ground thing is interesting, but isn't that very similar to your bomb idea? In both cases you're running a risk by attracting, although I guess the bomb is a more consistent and direct way of preventing just holding the attract button.
Personally, my own strategy is I take a knife, and then constantly reuse that knife to kill everyone else. I only repel and attract when absolutely necessary.
I'm actually trying to play while holding attract constantly, and I'm finding it very difficult. I'm not sure what your secret is, but clearly you mastered my game! Time for me to master yours :)
Well the bombs are predictable and the counter to them is not holding the button all the time, the knives you kind of get instakilled depending on the situation, because if you have a knife and gun close to you and then you attract the gun you get instakilled by the knife close to it which just seems unfair since you don't even realize why you died, also my strategy is to just stack guns on the ground and throw away knives that way I can always have a weapon and not get randomly instakilled

At first I wasn't exactly sure how the mechanic worked, but I figured it out pretty quickly.
I sometimes had some issues with guns/projectiles being a little inconsistent, sometimes they wouldn't attract properly or wouldn't hurt enemies when thrown, or they would clip through the floor.
I liked how you were also able to repel enemy bullets by using LMB.
The intro camera animation was also really nice, although the text could be a little clearer (only just noticed the U is a magnet, and "to a" is a bit vague too, could use some lighting).
Overall a pretty good game! Good job.
Thanks for the feedback! The issues with the projectiles not working just comes to not enough play testing being done. For instance, bullets get destroyed when they hit any object, which includes an enemy's gun. Fixing those things just weren't high enough on the priority list.
The lighting was somewhat intentional, although in hindsight maybe it was a bit too hard to see. Anyway, again, thanks for the feedback! I'll start working on those (of course, I won't submit the changes until the game jam is done).
Let me know if you end up releasing a build after the jam, I'd love to play it again :D

A simple game with dynamic gameplay and rhythmic music. The difficulty is normal, but you can get the hang of knocking out a lot of points.
The game is worthy of attention !

Fun game and good concept. Took me a while to figure it out, would be nice to see a more in-depth tutorial or explanation on how to play or it could be I'm just slow lol.
