Decent, compact game! I liked the way the light effects blended when the ball passed other objects. The jump mechanic and the ability to regain jumps by touching walls is neat, but unnecessary. The game is very easy, jumping just made it even easier. There could be some levels where you have to jump often. Music would've been nice.

I plan on adding more jump heavy levels as well as unique background music for each level

Thanks :)

you could add a slippery material so the player doesn't get stuck

overall the gameplay was nice and loved the graphics

(check my game too)

Developer

Thanks :) sorry my reply took so long there was a problem with the virus shutting down my workplace

Nice game, but a bit short.  I would have liked a few more levels :-)

The graphics were nice and the glow effect was good (and keeps you nervous about getting too close to the spikes).

Nice work.

Had a play of your game in this video here - at 50:20 -, where I give my thoughts while I play. Hopefully it's helpful feedback.

If you have time I'd greatly appreciate it if you could give my game a go to, happy jamming

This is a really solid game right here! I love the aesthetics and the particles for that tail. The level seemed a little unforgiving in level 2 where I had to memorize the pattern to get it through rather than learn how to deal with what is coming up. Requiring memory is a decent strategy for game design, but I guess a few checkpoints wouldn't have hurt in that case. Also, a really minor note that the arrow keys work with A/D to go left and right but the up key doesn't jump like W does, you can fix that real quick with the Player Input tab. Still, very solid work all around! I appreciated the visuals, how you can take a break and stick to the wall (you can change the Physics material of the box collider if you didn't want that), and even the occasional sound effect. Great job!

Thanks

Will add music and checkpoints in the future after the jam

I will make some more levels with the cling mechanic

I have already added the phisics material but it didn't work if you held down the move key :/

Glad you linked it :)

Oddly, the physics material always completely sticks unless the friction is completely 0. It's kinda annoying when you want actual friction; there must be a video out there explaining it better for Unity or at least offer a way to get around it.

Nice monochrome graphics, the glow effect fits right in and the screen distortion is nice too. Had fun playing it!

nice game and the glow effect looks so good, with a little bit of difficulty and a good song it would be a fun and challenging game like geometry dash

Nice game and good aesthetics!

Cute game:) Very fun to play,  maybe try to give the walls and obstacles colliders a 2d physics material with 0 friction (I think it will be better for this kind of games ,if you want the player to be able to fall when he is touching other colliders). I really liked the last level design :)
Well done!

A simple but funny game. The retro graphic looks like the fluorescence oscilloscope which is very beautiful. Also, you can add more mechanics like movable trap etc.

Developer

Will do after jam

Fun game.  Love 50's feel.  Like another game.  Tennis for Two.  Earliest video game.  Your game?  Pays homage.  With simple gameplay.  Thanks.

Would have loved a "down" button to speed up! That way you wouldn't have the speed up the character all the time, you just leave it up to the player to be impatient and make the game harder for them selves! Also loved the tube TV and green look

Developer

Thanks, will do after jam :D

Failing the level was a huge jump scare XD

(I play with headphones)

Developer

Lol xD

I like idea! Maybe it lacks speed a little bit, and also I think it would be better if player can not stop falling while touching the wall, all in all very great game!

Developer

The cling to the walls thing will be used in later levels and I will increase the fall speed

:)

At times it felt like I was dropping very slow but other then that the limited jumps make the game really fun. Good job!

Developer(+1)

I will fix the slow speed in the official page

you can try the (Hopefully) improved version there and tell me if it is better
