This game was inter-molecular. Well done!
Great graphics and interesting physics (on several levels). The strong attraction of the orbiting electrons and the subtle repulsion was very good.
Really nice game, great music and use of sound effects! The art style is simple but with some great use of particles which match the audio well. The overall concept of the game is quite simple but very unique and can be challenging! Great Job!
That's a real jam. The idea of creating positive charges (holes!) is brilliant! The art and music, man! Solid 5 stars for each category.
Thank you so much for such kind words๐๐
Great atmosphere and gameplay.
Thank you so much๐๐
I love the artstyle! Great use of colors and particles makes the game very juicy and enjoyable to play. And the music and SFX are just... outstanding! :)
One thing I'm confused about though is the theme implementation. Didn't really understand how "holes" come into play. But other than that, great job!
i think you missed your chemistry or physics class๐คญ๐คญ, let me explain you, the game is taking place inside a diode and in a diode the positive charge on an atom is called a HOLE. you create positive charge (or create hole) by removing an electron from atom and that's how theme comes into play๐๐๐
Oooooh I see. Now it makes much more sense! :D
Game design and particle effects are nicely done. Physics work really well, limiting push and pull effects between objects to a distance is a good idea too. Awesome!
Thank you so much glad you liked
Great game and awesome general aesthetic!
Thank you so much glad you liked
Love that electricity particle effect! Plays really well and full of life. Great work!
Thank you so much glad you liked
I loved the gameplay and the whole atmosphere , Great Job :
Thank you so much !! glad you liked ๐
5/5 would play again!
Seriously, I like that beside me also someone else created physic based games on this Game Jam.
I have found no bugs or any bigger issues. It was difficult at first to know which condition has to be fulfilled to kick one electron out, but then it was really fun to play.
Nice job!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate your rating๐๐
- Hey, loved your game, loved your art , music , game design a bit of polish and your game will be pretty cool! All the best and Good luck! Do check out our game we need the feedback! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574293
Thank you so much for kind words glad you liked๐ also i already played your game
Great game :), i just didn't know what exactly make an electron free , as sometimes i hit them they don't get free. maybe i missed something. but it is really fun overall.
and the game feels really polished with Post-Processioning and slow-mo effects and everything really great work :)
it would be great if you can checkout our game :)

You have to hit them hard๐๐, algorithm is relative velocity of free and bonded electron should be greater than some defined threshold else it won't be free๐ also i already checked your game, loved it
It's a pretty unique game. Loved the aesthetics. The controls need a little more work I feel, or maybe more suited for controller style, as you need to mostly drag multiple times in the same direction for good speed, but cicking and dragging twice on a small moving electron is not easy. And considering that you are only controlling one electron at a time, I see no reason why you cannot drag in a direction at just any place on screen. As for anything else that can be added, I think a small-minimap that just shows the whole flow would be pretty neat.
Other than that, it is pretty good stuff. Love it.
hmm i agree with your suggestions , actually i already made an update to game in which you can drag anywhere on screen and not just on electron itself also added a button to switch between free electrons, as for the minimap i though about it earlier but then i thought i would make game too easy,so to keep it challenging i just added camera zoom in and out relative to speed๐๐
Awesome game! The graphics are great! I found it a little difficult, but maybe it's because I suck. Overall great job :)
๐๐ha ha,i don't think it's because you suck, i think it's because my evilish developer skills ๐คญ๐คญ, i really appreciate games like dark souls and all so๐.
The audio is so cool! The graphic is simple but beautiful.
The control is a little bit annoying and I think that if you used the physics system, you shouldn't use "AddForce()". You should change the velocity directly when I release the mouse button instead.
Overall it's a cool game!
please tell me why should i change velocity directly?
Because the electron doesn't fly to the direction I want. For example, an electron is flying towards right, then I drag the mouse to up direction. But the electron will fly towards up-right when I release the button.
at first i was changing velocity directly but then thought nahh it should more challenging so i changed it to addForce but since me being developer and tester i really don't know how hard my game is, i have got just a habit of it, so does it make gameplay too hard due to addForce?๐
Yes. Another problem is that if I drag the mouse to a direction and wait for a while. Then the white arrow will get longer and then hard to drag it to another direction before release the button. There is a game "heat flame", the control of which is very smooth.
well i already fixed it๐, i was actually using world point , i changed it to screen point and the issue is gone now
difficult but interesting, whatยดs the goals can you tell me? i dont get the tutorial
so basic is you have to fill the voltage meter at top left corner.
second electricity can flow through any object having enough free electrons so free electrons are the key for game.
voltage can be generated by sending electrons through diode end which is at far left of game, also by freeing electrons from atoms.
the voltage meter depletes if you dont send electrons for a while also if your free electron count get's zero before you achieve desired voltage "game over"
๐๐๐๐
wow the lore is deep in this one, i mean it all is based on real physics and stuff. i am going to give it another go
This game is amazing..You can pretty much turn this into a mobile game.. I really enjoyed the concept of holes..Really creative! Also the particles on the electrons are so COOOL!!..I loved this game a lot.. Thanks for making this :)
Also please rate my game when you have time..Thanks ^_^
thank you so much for such kind words ๐๐
and yes offcource i will๐
this game is pretty much Balls from dani
and i like it 8/10
Check my game too :D
at least inspiration was balls๐ tried to convert it into my idea
also i appreciate your rating thank you so much๐๐
The graphic and particle system and overall the whoel game is incredibly nice, i enjoyed playing this. Wasted more time than i was planniung too but it was worth it.
Thank you so much! glad you liked๐๐
