One of the most polished and fun game in the jam! The concept of a rogue-AI is very fitting for the theme, the gameplay simple but smooth and quite addicting!
I love how bouncy the player is, and I love the randomly spawning obstacle every now and then. They add another layer of challenge, keeping the game fresh and more fun, amazing job on this!

Not much I can really say. Very simplistic. Though I would appreciate a way to make the dialogue texts go faster.
But the sfx, satisfying and kinda nostalgic of those 8-bit games.

Extremely polished game with a very simple, yet fun mechanic! The ONLY SINGLE thing that bothered me was the long cooldown between shots (maybe it was intentional) and the speed of the bullet projectile. Not that it makes the game harder or frustrating or anything, but I think it would greatly improve “juice” if you were to make a higher fire rate and a faster travelling bullet. To balance things, you can increase the enemies’ HPs!

Extremely well polished graphics and SFX. Short, simple, fun. Movement is a bit slidey and I really do wish I had more control over it, but otherwise solid submission!

Lovely play on a simple top down shooter with pong type visuals. The moving colliders was a nice touch. I scored 1:58 but wasn't able to place on the leaderboard? Was it set up to receive keyboard input for players 4 digits or just a nice visual?

I love the intro cutscene, the audio and the different enemy types :) I love the changing of the level layout it is very innovative! I wish I could shoot just a tad faster or have some sort of upgrade but all the core mechanics are there and polished, I had a lot of fun playing :)

Just wanted to be able to lower the volume during the intro sequence, the beeps were sooo loud. But I was able to do it later on!

I don't get it... I managed to win, but why? It's very mysterious (which I understand you are getting at), but also confusing. Otherwise nice atmosphere and feel.
Gaslighting across comment sections is crazy.
lol im sorry. Anyway great game. Love the whole shooting at enemies that chase me mechanic. It fuses together perfectly with the theme of the jam.

A really simple yet nice game :D You really nailed the aesthetic ! I only wished the sound was a bit lower and the difficulty to get higher faster on the first few minutes ^^ But the amount of polish is crazy !
Thanks! The sound can be lowered, though not during the actual game when most sound is being played so I understand what you're getting at. As for the difficulty ramping, I agree: a more rapid increase would probably give a more fitting dynamic.

Art is simple but very satisfying to look at, I love it with the whole console aesthetic. The enemies paired with the map constantly changing made for having to pay attention to your movement a lot, plus fighting against always going up. Was very fun.
