You have 7 days to prepare. Then nothing can go wrong as the storm blocks any action.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
besides the song, I did everything.

Nice idea! I reached day 7.

It has some problems in the execution though. The numbers and UI are confusing. Why some of them are 3-3 or 0-0? I didn't understand how to get power, I made many solar panels but I was having 0-0 power most of time. Some more explanatory panels would be needed. Anyway the gameplay is fun, well done!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.

The number on the left is the amount of resources you have while the one on the right shows the reserved amount. If you build a sonar panel you get power. If you then build something that needs power, you lose it again.

Impressive work for 1 person and only 7 days of time! I also like the simple graphics!

Really cool game! I enjoyed the game. Loved the visuals and the mood of the game.

Nice game, I really liked it :)

This game is really cool! I love the setting and the theme interpretation was nice. The only thing that I would say to improve is to give details about what the individual facilities produce. Other than that, great game!

Never mind, I just saw that you have that in the description :)

Nice work! It really reminds me a winner of a last brackeys jam — https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973571 so I suggest you to make a research before implementing a game. But it's okay, u have a little different mechanics.
Other suggestions to improve:
1) When you are using dialogues — implement it with alpha code, it allows you to draw words without removing (now your dialogues always changes position and it's a bit annoying) — https://youtu.be/jTPOCglHejE?si=EHWkPzsc8Fxg69pq&t=1501
2) I don't really understand how u implemented a theme, but it's ok

Nice game, reminds me of mine :)

I like the variety of different buildings, and I think there are many strategies :)

Overall the game is really good and immersive

Thanks for the kind words!

awesome work for a solo project! I might be missing something but I have no idea if the asteroids hits the base or not.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

They do. Each night they become more dangerous.

I admit, I made the game rather easy though.

Ay, nice game, though I think I got softlocked at the very start because I didn't build any Extractors

Some of the UI was confusing at the start but I made sense of it in the end

cool game!

Developer

Thank you for playing

Awesome game!

I really like the managing aspect of this game, it isn´t too hard on you but also gives you a good challenge :D

Maybe make it visible when and where the asteroids land because the buildings often just seem to randomly disappear when you look away for a second

Hope to see you with a high ranking :D

Developer

Thanks man

I always get addicted to this kind of games! I was happy to see a good balance in the difficulty! I would work on the graphics and the UI, but the main game mechanic works marvelously! Well done!! :)

I would fix the audio being a little too high-pitched on the intro/start, it was not that pleasant, so I muted until the game started. Then the background music was enjoyable, and I felt like living it in the background while working!

nice approach really liked your gane

its very awesome, I always love a good base builder base so extra points there. Lots of unique art/graphics, but it did lack sounds, like when building, or when the characters walk etc etc. just feels empty without that. Good job be proud
9/10 :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I postponed the sound design and lacked time in the end to implement it sadly

Holy cow, this was very well done for such a short time. Very clean animations and fun gameplay. Only suggestion would be to make sounds when asteroids are destroyed, possibly when things are being built so it's not just background music. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. I did not have time for more sounds sadly. I have exams going on at the moment

Wow, very impressive scope for a game jam game! I like the way you boiled down resource management and city building to the essentials, it works very well!

Developer

Thank you for playing my game :D

Reminded me a lot of dune keepers. Considering that game won the last jam i think its safe to say this game is awesome! Very nice art design as well.

Developer

Thank you. I checked dune keepers up, it really is a similiar game concept haha.
