I really liked the gameplay; it reminded me a little of Doom, just less demons. If you focused on player feel, controls, and QoL i think it would go very far. The art could ofc be a little more original and such, but since it's a game jam, it doesn't really matter. My only grievance is the lack of settings. The game started VERY loud, and I had to lower my system volume. Other than that, great

Surprised this doesnt have more rates. But i do think there are a couple of ways this game could be a lot better.
1. The movement feels very unresponsive, now i get this is bc its a grid based movement but i think a free style top down movement would work a lot better here
2. The game is extremely zoomed in, to a point where you can hardly see anything other than the player. This sucks, as a player i want to see the amazing world you have created
3. this is rather a minor thing but please pack your files into a .zip, having to download two seperete files is very annoying.
7.5/10, keep up the good work
This is one of those simple jam games that turn out really well. The polish and game feel are really well made, the graphics are stylized and it all kinda just works out. I wish there was a tutorial (unless i missed it :P) but either way i figured out what i needed to do on my own. Good job

I'm really surprised the game doesn't have more rates. While it's not the best, it has its charm, it excelesin the graphics department. It reminds me a little of Ultrakill. As for feedback, I think that having some points of reference in the scene would be huge, its kinda hard to orient yourself with nothing around. You could always polish the game a little more and add some QoL changes. Oh, and please don't tilt the camera THAT much, makes people dizzy
Other than that, a solid entry

This is a pretty good game for a first time. And altough its largly an asset flip, it's nice to see people getting into gamedev. As for feedback, I'd advise that next time you should make your own assets, even if they are worse, you will learn so much more. And besides that, just continue making games, you will get better over time.
Good luck in your gamedev journey :)
