Prayers function as the currency. Essentially you purchase the food, and it 'heals' her hunger by 20%. Eve gains speed as her health drops below 50% and again at 25%. Unfortunately, I didn't get it implemented for the game over screen to kick in when Hunger hits 0%. Thanks for the feedback!

Absolutely agreed. First game problems indeed. I ran out of time to make changes I wanted, but I learned a lot and had fun. Thank you for the honest feedback!

Gotcha, thanks for the heads up. I love me some youtube tutorials. Any one that you'd suggest watching?

I just started learning Godot two months ago. This was my first game making experience from scratch outside of following tutorials. I will try to play and rate the other games here as well. Congrats to everyone that crossed the finish line. It wasn't easy as a one man show! lol I had to keep limiting the scope of what I wanted to do, but it was really fun to learn.

I loved the art, the story, the music, it all fit together really well! Great job!

Very cool idea! Where did you learn this mechanic, on youtube or just stumbled onto it? I'd love to figure out a way to put that into a game somehow., this was my first Game Jam too. Great job!

Your game art is very pretty! The game play was fun as well. Great job!

I enjoyed the game mechanics along with the visuals. It's a neat little game. Great job! I do think a little tutorial would have helped with some initial confusion. Maybe even put "Order" or something under the box to help direct people to place things there.

The death scenes were well done, made me laugh. I would have enjoyed more levels. Great job!

I got Economics DaKitty. I was excited when it evolved as I wasn't expecting that. Fun idea and great execution! Great job!

Thank you!

I enjoyed your game! I chuckled at the 5% click level. The clicking the buttons gave me a Simon game vibe, especially when the color names disappeared, maybe you could add similarish sounds. Great job!

Thank you!

Thank you! I used NavigationAgent2D on Eve and directed it to the Tree, so no matter where she is in the level she path finds to it, and then set it to trigger the end screen when her body enters the tree. The game over screen was also supposed to trigger at 0% hunger. I wanted to do that, or significantly increase her speed at 0%, but I couldn't get the coding finished before I ran out of time. I know we're all in the same boat with the time constraint, so it makes playing and rating fun to see what other people could do with the same amount of time.

I enjoyed the concept, as well as the gameplay. Great job!

Thank you for trying it! I certainly ran out of time, lol. It's my first effort at a game starting from scratch and doing it solo. There's a lot I just pieced together to have an entire game loop in the final hours.  The scary scene was meant to go with the theme of unleashing sin into the world when she reaches the tree. I didn't realize it would startle people the way it has. I agree about the levels, with more time it would have had better design choices.

Yay for Godot! The graphics look great, you did an amazing job!

Fun little game. I liked the maneuverable shield to protect him. Neat concept!

Very fun game, I really enjoyed the puzzles! Great job!

Very nice graphics, relaxing shooter. Great job!

Fun simple game with decent replay-ability.  Good job!

Fun and hectic. I enjoyed playing it! Good job.

Your game is beautiful. Great job!

Wow, those graphics are legit! Excellent job!

I liked the clicker aspect, with the hand drawn funny ads. I also made a clicker if you'd like to try it. I ran out of time to make the game end when the hunger bar gets to 0%, but it was my first game, so maybe in the future.

Cute game, had fun playing it. The guy on the final level made me laugh every time he turned around, lol.

For getting this done in a week, y'all did awesome. Very neat concept!

The struggle is real for all of us, lol. I had several things that just didn't make the cut, but I had fun trying it out.

Thank You! I enjoyed your game too.

I love the artwork, you did a great job! The game was confusing until I went back and saw your notes about what things did. Fun game.

Lol, that was fun! I like the honesty in the settings too lol. Neat concept and well executed!
