Amazing game, the art is really good and the story is very nice. I had to go play it twice to make sure I experienced the two endings!  I liked the feel of the platformer and how the game played, great work!

Very powerful, really nice message. Everything works really well, especially aligned with the message of the game and conveys the story in an very effective measure. Great job, I enjoyed it a lot.

This is so much fun,I just stopped playing cause my finger is hurting from the clicking. So impressive what you guys did in a week. Good job!

I had a lot of fun, the game looks good and the music is nice. The menu was really clever and well implemented. I don't know if it was on purpose, but I got knocked away from the arena and that's why I finished the first level! For the boss, I would probably add a CD for the attack, I just spammed it and killed him in 2/3 seconds. Which does fit the theme of nothing going wrong really well, since I don't know if it was intentional, I thought it was worth mentioning. Good luck on your development for MetaBeast!

This is incredible, amazing, really well polished. I'm so impressed that you guys made this in a week. This feels almost ready for an actual release. I couldn't beat the boss tho, I struggled really hard with his second part, but that's a skill issue. Some small tip for clarity later, is to add something to say that the red buttons were  only for resetting. The first time the tip appeared on top of the screen I was in the middle of heated battle between my rhythm coordination and a spider, I actually tried to push the box towards the button instead lol. I figured out easily after, but I felt I should  just give a heads up! Great Job!

This is really really good! Amazing game, good job!

UE5 was beyond what I needed, I started game dev recently and I only have experience with UE5. But if I knew how I probably would have chosen Unity for a 2D game like this.

Game plays really well, art is really good and the VO is amazing.  I wish there was a bit of a better indication for where the issues are happening in the house. Something else which is small but just a tiny tweak is that the oven doesn't play the sound when you turn the last correct knob, sometimes it made me wonder if I did it correctly or not. Similar to the computer, I don't know if I put the correct password or not! Extremely well polished, great job!

This is a great game, really good VO, the art is really nice and the sounds are great, I literally yelled out the first time some one showed up to my door. I would suggest to give the two characters a bit more of an identifiable look, I don't know if by shape or color.

The game looks really good, I enjoyed the art style a lot! I am struggling a bit to understand the relations between cards. It plays great, I think a tutorial level would have helped!

Thank you for the comment! I am definitely checking your game!
I initially wanted to draw everything on the screen, but I quickly realized I would not have the time for that, so I decided to finish what I couldn't draw with the textures! I am an engineer so the UI/UX and art were challenging to say the least, but really fun overall. I like the UI buttons changes ideas. My game is just that one level, I wanted to have multiple but in the second day I scratched that out as well, lol.

Im so sorry! Thank you for the comment, I've been researching it for the past day ways to optimize the game since I saw your comment!  I have some clues on what is causing the issues but fixing them may take more time than the game jam bug fixes window.

Thank you for the comment! As this is my first ever released project, I am trying to get as much feedback as possible. Could you play the game? If so what did you think about it?

Thank you a lot! I was a bit afraid about it, I am an engineer with little artistic prowess.  Could you play the game? I am trying to get as much feedback as I can.

Hey thank you so much for the comment! I did not implement checkpoints. I was afraid the game was too easy, lol, I was definitely too out of touch, so I didn't want to add the checkpoints because of that. Time was also a big constraint in that. I am trying your game now! Good Luck with the Jam!

Thank you for the messages, I am glad you liked the art style. I am an engineer and am not really an artistic person so it was a struggle to do everything, but really fun at the same time! I will try your game and leave a comment!

Thank you for the positive outlook, yeah definitely some resource handling, I think I want overboard on processes running on Tick. I will see if I can fix some of this issues. I am going to try your game next!

Thank you for the comment, sorry the experience was like this! I will test out your game as well!

Thank you for the kind comment, yeah I am trying to fix the performance issues but I don't know exactly how. I will take a look at your game now!

Yeah, sorry for that. My first ever game jam and because  it worked fine on my computer, given some small hiccups but generally running around 45-50fps with an occasional drop to 30, I didn't even think about the performance issues. Thank you for trying and for the comment! Will play your game and leave a comment as well!

It is :) Thank you for playing!

Thank you for the comment, I wanted to add more to the background/ create more things on the level. Time was definitely an issue. I think I was a bit out of touch regarding difficulty for the game, I didn't have any other person to playtest it besides me, I was afraid the game was WAY too easy. From other peoples review it seems that I overlooked how fair the game felt. Will play your game next!

Thank you for the comment! Sorry for the file sizes, I am definitely researching a lot in this past day about optimization, I have a couple of hints on why its too performance intensive for some people. I wanted to add some checkpoints, but I didn't have enough time. How did you find difficulty and gameplay? I did this jam on my own, without any one that could playtest my game besides me, so now I want as much feedback as I can, I feel like maybe the controls/movement were not really intuitive for some people. Will try out your game now!

Great game, really fun and crazy. I love the weird paths it took throughout the gameplay.
