There are a lot of questions, like why do I need a hammer, why can't I skip waves, why am I always on top of the building? But the game is really nice, it's literally one of my favourite games, so I liked it! The graphics and sound are cool too! I like this part when I don't have to defend and all my turrets are doing all the work :) Well done!

How does the game fit the theme?
Flawless Fortress offers a sense of “flawless” defense strategy, where the player eventually feels like they cannot lose. Ensuring that nothing can go wrong as long as they make the right choices. This could create a satisfying experience where the player's foresight and decision-making lead to a unbeatable defense.
The game is infinite. If you play long enough, nothing can go wrong.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The wave manager script was not made by scratch. Most of the art was purchased on itch, but some assets were hand crafted. The music is from Splice.com and a public assets list will be added to the game page soon.

I played a bit more and I think you should balance the difficulty. So that's one thing that makes games successful and keeps players engaged - a good curve of difficulty. For example, do the hard wave every 10 waves. It will be hard to defend against it, but the player will be rewarded with a new cool turret. And maybe add a goal to keep the player engaged, because it feels like the game gets boring after 20 waves.
Very nice game, had a lot of fun! It would be cool to see an updated version with more enemies and turrets, and maybe different maps. My only criticism is that it wasn't very clear when the next wave would start, a little countdown would be really nice.
Love the pixel art, felt a bit confusing but its nicely polished. Well done!
Very fun and unique game! Maybe consider the option of starting with some scraps? It takes a while before you can purchase anything. And a visible hitbox for the base would be cool.
Love the artstyle and mad max vibes.
First of all, this is the longest I’ve played a game in this jam! Are you a genius designer or a wizard? I couldn’t stop playing! Turning a basic tower defense into an addictive idle game was a brilliant twist. I couldn’t resist filling every slot with turrets—watching the cash stack up is weirdly addictive. I don’t even know when to quit!
Good game! Looks cool, loved the visuals, would have been even better if the display was "pixel perfect" i think ! Congratulations for submitting this cool game ;)
Nice wave shooter! It's not very clear how do we build things, I could build some spike but don't know if they were effective? I was a bit confused that I can walk over the main building, and I did not know what to do at first. When a second type of enemy spawn I thought it was civilian to defend (played too much helldivers ^^). Great entry, keep up the good work! Did you try Angry Shepherd?
What does the hammer do? I kept trying to repair my base, but it didn't appear to do anything. Is that just for turrets?
I can agree that it becomes easy after a while. I got to Wave 32 and then I lost my main character outside the screen and wasn't able to get it back, maybe you could add some kind of a border. Even I lost it I really enjoyed this game, because being able to build so many turrets made me want to play it more and more. I am a big fan of these type of games. Thank you for the effort of making a good game!
Gets a bit too easy quite quickly, but overall fun experience!
Awesome wave shooter! It does feel like it's pretty hard to get started and you're not really safe from damage until you get a few turrets up, but I had a lot of fun and it was pretty intense!
I liked it. Needed a wee bit of a clearer damage indicator and I found it a wee bit hard at the start to get enough bits and pieces to build the turrets I wanted to. But...
A great game and one that I'll be playing again. Thanks.
Kudos to the both of you - well done!
This one was nice. I felt that the theming wasn't as obvious as it maybe should have been, but gameplay, visuals and nice upbeat music made me want to play more. Great job!
