Really fun concept, the intro really sold it! Both the dash and the harpoon was fun as main mechanics and I think you utilized them well for the different sections of the game, especially the final boss fight was really cool as you had to position yourself correctly and pull the rocks.
I ran into a bug where sometimes when pulling the rocks when you are next to a wall will push inside of the wall and I couldn't get back out into the level, I had to die to something and respawn again.
Very cute and fun game!
There are some level design flaws that I've found - some rocks can be skipped by dashing at the top section of them, the green dots are too hard and at the start I didn't think they would hurt me, the mine part took me a lot of time to nail, but it didn't save at the end so when I died it teleported me a lot back which made me rage quit XD
Also, I managed to get myself stuck sometimes with big rocks. With spamming them with dashes and pulling them I managed to get out but took time.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and the fixes are easy to do. It's impressive for only 1 person to build that in a week! Keep it up!.
Played and rated! That was great, the intro cutscene genuinely had me laughing out loud, especially "got diving gear on in next scene".. The gameplay was good but maybe a little too hard, i had to cheese my way past the first boss and eventually game up on the mines section (i got pretty far through it), don't know how much more game there was. Music was great, the visual style was great in that intentionally bad sort of way, and the game felt really polished. Definetly deserves a lot more attention, hope you make it over 20 ratings!
I loved the mechanics of the game! Although I didn't get far hunting fish was fun!
Wow, thats was pretty fun experience, ha-ha! I like the way you do cut scenes. Great job!
Very funny! Also, quite a bit of mechanics for such a short time. I think the drunkness bar is slightly bugged 'cause it never fills all the way up.
This is hilarious, I love it. The dialogue is entertaining, and I really like the different mechanics you introduce, pulling the rocks to set off the mines is a great idea. Great job!
Wow, I love the humor you infused into the game! The controls feel smooth and satisfying, and the gameplay is a blast. That said, using the blue stones to pass obstacles and damage the Loch Ness monster felt slightly tricky to master. On the upside, the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic! Great job overall!
Verry funny! Is being drunk really makes you can breath under water? :D
The funniest game of jam! The control and camera are smooth, well-developed sound effects, useful tips, and hilarious humor! Great job!
Could not beat nessy, was not smashed enough lol The intro at the beginning was actually class, had fun playing this!
Very fun with a new twist! - Very sad that I couldn't figure out how to get past the first boulders.
Thanks for playing. You only have 2 mechanics, dash and shoot, did you not try these? You dash into the boulders and they move out of the way (or blue boulders after you beat the first boss you harpoon and drag them out of the way after it says you got the grappling harpoon). Shame you didn't get past the boulders!
Wow this was so much more fun that I expected I was already smiling with the dialogue at the start so I was taken aback when I realised there was gameplay after that.
I beat the loch ness monster, and acquired a sense of accomplissement. The humor is on point.
Great job!
Very fun, it is very cool too that i can explore (its giving shark world or whatever it was called)
I like the absurdity of drunk diving, it was very fun to dash around and harpoon things. My only issue is I wish the boulders travelled further because it felt like I didn't have enough space to really slingshot them in some of the caves. I'm impressed you pulled this off alone!
Thanks for your feedback. I puzzled over this mechanic, and (annoyingly now post-jam) I think I found the answer. It pulls towards you and stops just short of you, so that you can blast it through stuff that is between you and it, but I should have made it so that it keeps going through the player and the blue rocks don't collide with the player, that way you can just grab a rock and throw it at the enemy and not have to get the other side of the enemy first. So I agree totally, it would feel more fluid if the boulders were just to keep going when pulled rather than glue to the harpoon. Thanks loads for playing!
