How does your game fit the theme?
You play the game in the shadow of a looming storm. You need to complete your objectives before it arrives.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, but I have used art, music, and sound effect assets not made by me. All of these assets are under the CC0 license or similarly generous licenses.

I'm not very good with strategy games (mostly because I get too overwhelmed with too much instructions), but your game was easy to follow and I quite enjoyed working out the trade and managing labour. The instructions and descriptions of the cards are clear and concise. I also like how you have a menu for all the cards to study.
I wish there was more to explore with the background story because it actually hooked me :D Maybe the animals are not normal Earth chickens and sheep?
Also, this is one of the games here in the jam that I think fit perfectly with the theme. You've done wonderfully!
Thank you! My focus for this jam was to try and introduce the player to the mechanics while saying as little as possible, so I am very happy to hear that you found it intuitive. Also I couldn't help but try to create a world around the concept, even if it is only teased vaguely. Also very happy to hear that you resonated with it. Thanks for playing and commenting!
it's a bit difficult to understand the game at first. But, I got the idea after a couple of play and I tought that this kind of game is quite innovative for the jam theme. Good work!
For this jam I tried to teach the mechanics of the game without telling them explicitly, so it is totally understandable if you had trouble with it. Very happy that you stuck with it. Thank you for playing!
Very Cool!
Thanks!
Nice card game, was fun figuring out how to get all the resources at first, then later getting higher scores from trading with the caravan.
I think it'd be a really great system for an expanded game, where you don't just prepare for the storm, but can also be expanded to a settlement management game as the framework is already there.
Thank you! I am thinking about whether or not to make a bigger post-jam version
Actually quite a lot of content and feels like a thought out resource management. Nice game
Thank you, and thanks for playing!
Really cool card game. The mechanics were very intuitive to play. Getting a combo assembled like sheep cloning or foraging was a lot of fun. The sound and visuals work well for the setting. The caravan system is great. You can discard what you don't need and buy resources or combo pieces.
Polished and well-thought-out. Excellent work.
Thank you!
Interesting game, I had fun playing 1 run :)
I liked the song in the main menu while I read the card menu, it kind of settled the mood for the game. Also a nice touch of the storm getting stronger the more weeks you have played
It’s nice to see the little combos you can do with the cards, to get my food quota I did clone sheeps and then use the slaughter, I wanted to use another combo with the forage cards but I run out of coal, I tried my luck at the caravan but I didn’t get it haha. At least I could gather a lot of water by using the shovel and the oasis I got at the start in my 1st go to the caravan
The market is nice, usually exchanging scraps for good cards to enable more resources, and the UI feels nice, I didn’t feel that I was missing info, I think the only thing I could say of feedback is that when you pick a card, make it easy to deselect it. Other than that, I liked the atmosphere of the game and playing with the deck. I leave my final score of my 1st run!
It was fun ^^
That's a very good score, great job. And it sounds like you used the caravan and market exactly as intended :) Thank you for the thorough feedback! I completely agree that the cards are a bit sticky. Super glad you enjoyed it!
This was very intriguing from the get-go. The mechanics worked great and there was a large enough amount of different cards to allow strategy. The audiovisual side supported the game and setting well. I even played it twice despite passing it on first try! First time: 1030 points, second time: 2015 points. The only constructive feedback I could think of is that I couldn't skip or speed up the opening text, which lasted very long, though reading it did help set the mood.
Thank you! Love the feedback! Well done reaching 2015, that's a very good score. You can actually skip the opening by pressing Escape, but I should have written that somewhere to make it clear. Thanks for playing!
I managed 1512 on my first playthrough. Very nice job building the suspense in the last few days with audio and visuals. You could have just had the core loop of drawing cards and playing them, but you went the extra step and added the whole caravan system, which really gave the game an added layer to it! Super awesome to have done in such a short amount of time. Awesome job!
Good job! Yeah I am glad I added the market, I think it kinda became the core of the game. Thank you for playing!
This was an incredibly ambitious project to be done in less than a week! I was floored that you made an entire working card game with various mechanics that was legitimately really fun to play! My end score was I think 2207 and I know there was a lot of optimizations I could have done. Fantastic entry and might be my favorite of the jam so far!
That is high praise, thank you for playing and commenting! 2207 is very good, great job :)
I liked this a lot. I have a lot to learn about making card games and this was a good study for me.
You can watch my experience here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2254209157?t=02h20m54s
Wow, that was a lot of fun to watch. You seemed to catch on to the mechanics pretty quick! Thank you for playing, and streaming :)
Super nice game. Interesting idea and gameplay.
Thank you!
I really like card games (you might have guessed ;) and want to play this. But I only have a Windows machine. If you happen to make a Web or Mac build sometime I'd be happy to check it out. All the best!
Hee-ho. Super nice game. Interesting idea and gameplay. Thanks for good experience

Thank you for playing!
super underrated! got just over 1000 points on my first playthrough, its super fun and i can see myself replaying this game a ton. the ui is very well made and theres a lot of detail within it! well done, i hope your game is found by a lot more people!
Awesome! Thank you for playing and the nice comment!
I had about 2-3 playthroughs to keep aiming for the highest score, only got 1436, really liked the music, great game!
Thank you! 1436 is not at all bad!
Got 2093 the second round by getting a condensor and investing in sheep. This game should be seen by more people.
That's a great score, good work. Thanks so much for playing and the nice comment!
This was really fun as I’m personally always interested in checking out games with card-based mechanics. I failed miserably at first, but got to 1250 in my second run! Love the UI as well.
Nicely done for a week-long jam dude!
Thank you! 1250 is very decent score, I am glad you gave it a second go. Thrilled you liked the UI, that was one of the things I struggled with. Thanks again!
I've enjoyed game a lot. I know it's hard to manage the balance for the game jam but this one is very well made.
I've completed the game in the last turn on my first run. Maybe I'm lucky but from I see it's a good point for a good balance!
I really like the atmosphere and overall UI design. There were hints, descriptions and good iconographics.
Very cool entry! Thank you for that!
Thank you for playing and the kind comment! Atmosphere was important to me, and UI was one of the harder things for me, so this means a lot!
Really liked the game a lot, the different cards and their interesting effects were really well done and I liked how it was shown visually.
One thing I wish was possible, and I may have missed it or something, is I don't think it's possible to get rid of Scrap Metal cards, even if you were willing to use labor to get rid of them. If they're put in the caravan, they come back to your hand after it's sent and after even a successful barter. Later on, I noticed I guess it's possible to put these back in the deck, but it means you might get these cards again. I guess since it's possible to put them back in the deck, maybe that's supposed to be the way to get rid of them, it might be intentional that they can't be completely discarded. Since I'm not so sure this is really a flaw and it might be intentional. I don't want to consider this specific aspect for my rating, but it's the only one I thought of so far for anything to improve the game.
I was able to survive and got a score of just over 1400 or so. Really nice job with the game!
I just traded all my scrap metal away.
Scrap metal was meant to only have value when traded for other cards on the market, to urge the player to try trading at least once, and also to have the chance to use the market without losing something you might want to keep. I am not sure if you ran into a bug with the market, because they shouldn't return to your hand if you trade them. If that's the case, it's a fault on my part!
I tried to design the game to be intuitive enough that players would figure out the mechanics with minimal guidance, so it is totally understandable if you ran into a point of confusion. You comment helps me a lot when trying to figure out how to do it better.
1400 is a good score! Thanks so much for playing and for the well thought out comment!
