How does your game fit the theme?
Calm before the storm is the theme. You have a "calm" period where you need to set up your base before waves of enemies come. When calm period ends the "storm" begins and enemies attack.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Wow great game! I realy like the cut scenes and the gameplay was pretty fun. Well done.
Cool game! The timer could be shorter and you can stall enemies pretty easily
fun game! although i didnt play for 15 minutes, and this is something that you should learn from in your future game jams, since its something i learned from too. people are only really willing to play a jam game for 2-5 minutes, so you should make the playtime short. also, the 60 second cooldown on the turrets felt really long too. but i really liked the art and the little robot!
Amazing production quality for the timeframe!! The turrets felt a bit too weak with a long cooldown, and 15 minutes felt far too long.
Aside from that though, the gameplay loop of making a maze of walls to block the aliens off was really fun. And that voice acting was oscar worthy, I teared up at the performance, simply beautiful ;-;
Beautiful graphics, amazing audio, so much effort was out here :0
And I absolutely loved the artwork :D
Very cool game, definitely huge props for this concept. The game's a little rough around the edges but with polishing this could be a fully fledged game.
Audio levels are a little loud for the monsters dying and damaging things. I also think for the sake of a short game jam that 15 minutes is a little long. I died at 30 seconds left since my tower had moved very far away from my guns. I think that the tower moving was a good idea but it definitely made things more challenging, and sometimes to an impossible degree. Maybe there needed to be some balance in that?
Hee-ho. Nice game. Good job
Well well well... According to the discord, I believe this picture entitles me to a doodle of a chubby monkey perhaps?
This game was super fun!! At first the random turret placement and base moving was really jarring and I immediately almost died, but after that initial shock I realized it's actually really clever. Having to constantly remake your maze to adapt to the placement of your base position and towers is challenging, but probably the best part of the game. The only feedback I have is that it's pretty easy to game the system by closing an opening right before the enemies get there and opening up another one, so you can just make the bounce back and forth infinitely until your towers mow them down. Art was beautiful, loved the voice acting, story was fun, overall a really amazing game! Team did fantastic, well done everyone.
whats ur username!! :^) thanks for trying our game~
it was my pleasure :O) username in the discord is Kyloman
That voice acting, haha, good job! very interesting mechanics and cute art
10/10 Voice acting.
Just a bit on random turrets but other than that, it's fantastic.
Very cute, I love the sounds, but some of them looked a bit to loud.
Pretty cool, unique atmosphere and the strategy behind this game is pretty interesting, nice job!
This game is outstanding! The design, mechanics, and overall experience are top-notch. It’s clear that so much effort and thought went into making it.
Loved the idea of the base moving around as you play! Also the art is STUNNING and so cute. Sounds were amazing as well. Overall a lovely tower defense!
Amazing production quality. It was so impressive seeing the opening cutscene feel like a fully voice acted comic strip! Gameplay wise, it was an interesting twist on the Tower Defense genre of having to use your walls to reroute enemies. I got frustrated at first that the routes and base changed and I couldn't rely on the defense I had setup, but then I learned the intended flow of the game. I ended up beating it my first try with a lot of placing a wall down to block a path, then selling it to bring it back up to get the enemies stuck going back and forth. Incredibly impressive entry!
Fun art, sound effects, and cutscenes. Not being able to move the turrets was a little frustrating. I took half my health in the 2nd wave because my turret was on the opposite side of where the wave was coming from. Two waves later my first turret was completely out of reach of the whole wave. Walls didn't do enough to direct the wave toward the turrets. Probably a skill issue on my part.
Some lovely artwork :)
Very novel take on a tower defense game. The fact that the base moves around each wave is a genious mechanic, that kinda brings the whole concept together. On top of that you have good humour and beautifully handpainted graphics, all in a weeks work. Very, very impressed!
thank you so so much for the kind words!! i'll be sure to play your game soon, it looks awesome!
The cutscene and the voice overs are stunning! the game is very chill and easy to pick up, good job on making this polished game in such a short time frame!
