How does your game fit the theme?
The story of the game centers around Petra, a girl clueless about an upcoming storm that will destroy her whole city, potentially separating her from her beloved cat.

The game's mechanics involve trying to subtlety influence Petra into making good decisions for her cat, increasing points that will decide which ending of the game to trigger, whether the cat survives the storm or not.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, plugins and royalty free audio were used

I did however, draw all of the art and wrote all of the story myself

cute art style. A web build would help a lot

Despite the bugged music, this is a very cute visual novel with solid theming 👍

Cute visual novel. I liked that the dialogue choices lead to different endings. The text font feels a little small though.

i love visual novels, and i loved yours to bits!!

i had some issues with songs playing at the same time; though i can appreciate the type of transition in mood you were trying to create with that! i think the music suits your theme very well.

the story is short and sweet, and i liked the multiple choices within the game! there's so much effort put into this entry, and there's so many cgs (which you sometimes don't even see in a professionally published vn!! so be proud!) the godot plushie was super cute too :3

overall great work!! the characters were very charming!

I enjoyed the story, and the art is great. I think this concept could be expanded with extra scenarios and a "covert" gameplay mechanic that requires the player to not make too many future-accurate choices, or risk their powers getting discovered.

I love visual novels and this fit the theme perfectly! Great work on the art too - I had to learn pixel art for mine haha

I managed to kill the cat on my first try, 10/10

I REALLY like the art! The blue outlines are interesting, and work well! Makes me also like the characters (and the cat)

The audio is well done, the music switching is very well done! (Although it broke when I played the game)

I encountered two bugs:

- Multiple songs playing at the same time

- The girl's suprised face was stuck on the screen in front of everything (this was insanely funny)

But these bugs were avoidable with the welly well made save system!

Great job!!!

Developer

Lol thank you :D

About the bugs, I plan on fixing them once the game jam is over so thank you for the reports :)

While the game didn't have super innovative gameplay due to being a visual novel, but the characters and story were pretty charming, and I like how you interpreted the theme too.

it was nice, the characters were cute, it was literally about a storm, so it followed the theme rather well, but from a gameplay standpoint, it was just a visual novel which means there wasnt any new idea revolving around, but i loved the graphics and art of it and i liked your reference to godot game engine in it as well!
