I liked the visuals and the sound a lot.  It was fun to explore the area too and the story elements were a nice touch!

Loved the dash and the top down parallax effect!

The music got a bit repetetive quickly and I had to watch the whole cutscene in the beginning again after dying, but it was a great experience overall!

I made a strategic shooter game, I'd be honored if you checked it out!

cool little topdown shooter why there is a big wave of zombie in one room

For the lore

A neat little shooter, but it didn't feel particularly punchy. It really did need some time spent on adding a bit of juice - camshake, things like that. There seems to be a lot of content for a jam game, which is a good thing! But I think in the future, less content more polish would be better :) the music was good, if a little repetitive after a while.

I didn't really see much theme application, but overall it was a good entry and you should be proud!

cool little shooter. I'm a big fan of the pixel art but the music got repetitive really quick. other than that (and the UI being too big) nice job!

Cool, detailed shooter. UI was a little big and distracting but it wasn't a big deal. Good job!

Nice game. I love shooters with blood they make me go yes. I would recommend adding some
blood particles when hitting enemies and maybe lerping the camera to be somewhere between
the player and the cursor. It would improve the game quite a lot. But still great work!

Short and charming game! Nice explosion effects and fast paced action. Camera could be done so that it extends to where the cursor is pointing along with dashing towards the direction the character is moving instead of aiming.

I enjoyed playing this alot, the movement mechanics are enjoyable. I also enjoyed the art and the fact that it became harder and more fast paced as you found new enemies. The only thing that I didn't like was how the camera was placed, I would've liked to be able to see further in front of me when im running around as there was a few times that I ran straight into an enemy because I could'nt see them. But other than that, I enjoyed playing it. Good Job

Very neat game. I struggled a lot. The art was really cool and I loved the animations.

Loved the art and the sounds in the game. Have in mind that new player will always make mistakes. It is a big punishment to restart the whole game over again, try to avoid that by adding checkpoints.

Developer

3 checkpoints exist on the map, but i shouldve made them closer together. Thanks for playing!

I like the Hotline Miami vibe, although the game felt a little repetitive. I can tell that you put a lot of effort in the art and it shows! I don’t quite get how this game fits in the theme of the Jam though.

Good job!

I like all the details like flipping tables and the background + falling down. The map is pretty hard to navigate and maybe there should be more save points. Most enemies don't have a damage indicator wich is fine but maybe that could've been implemented before the other little details. I like the variety of enemies and amount of content tho, as well as the way of telling the story.

Developer

I agree I should have made the map more linear, but I was running out of time lol. Thanks for playing!

I'm gonna be real and say that it's not very good. I can see you put a lot of effort into it, but there's a lot that's wrong.

Everything looks the same and there are no visual landmarks you can use to tell where you are so you just end up feeling lost.

The music is very repetitive.

Although the teleport is cool, I've never really felt the need to use it because you're already faster than the enemies, and teleporting can actually lead you to death because you can't peek ahead very much at where you're going.

You deal with all the enemies the same way. You walk for a bit, get the attention of a few enemies, walk back while shooting, repeat. It's pretty boring.

I applaud you for the effort, but I just can't say it's a good game

thanks for the review and feedback.
actually, we were out of time for the enemy proximity detection mechanic.

The feedback will help me and the team in the next game jams to come.

We appreciate your review and the time you took to explain the reason, why you didn't like the game.

it was a long comment and will definitely help us get better.

btw I am the games pixel artist. :D

Thanks for the constructive criticism :) I'll make sure no issues like this arise when I participate in another game jam . Thanks for playing! :)

I playtested this game before, twice, and I have to say it really changes a lot. Good job!

Well Done! I love the game itself, the guns, the story and the zombies. So well done, I wish you could put some indicators on where to go. But well done!

the game is related to the theme

The c -36 card located  tells if the concentration C-36 is high or low.

This is related to the gameplay but we don't want to tell a lot of spoiler
