It was a neat concept. It could have evolved into something more interactive such as giving it a twist instead of just narrating a story, or just some more context that lead to the changes it showed.

It has a really nice concept. However, coming back to the beginning once you realize is a little bit too unforgiving. I think it could have been improved with just taking damage and reducing the size instead of just spawning you back in the last checkpoint. Solid entry nonetheless!

I loved the overall atmosphere of the game. How the music changed dependind on the level and how you managed to set one for each was a nice touch. However, I think there might be a need to balance the combat. As food ran out fast, it was easier to just avoid the monsters instead of fighting them without a significant reward.

Really good pixel art and interesting implementation of the mechanics. However, as much as it is intentional, I think it may be easier for the player if the collisions aren't as precise to the pixels as it is now. Getting stuck has been more of an annoyance than a challenge. Still, loved the implementation of the theme

Really cool detail that you can trick enemies to shoot each other in tight corners! Really short and simple game but is really enjoyable.

Really cute artstyle! Like BridgeOnAStick said, having checkpoints or items to increase your size on tough spots such as the first drop could help a lot in the overall experience. Even better, creating alternative paths on such tough spots. Really solid entry nevertheless!

Really smart puzzles! It has a simple design yet the animations for the movements and the sounds make it look like a really polished game. It doesn't feel like it was made in just a week. Solid entry and I applaud the innovation put into this

+Really good visuals and effects.

+Nice background music

- Game is too easy once you realize you can put the towers anywhere, even the center of the place you are supposed to defend

- Game flashes too much and could be nice to have an epilepsy warning beforehand

Really creative and cool concept that fits the theme well. I don't think that the long text in the beginning is neccesary as the game itself is a lot of fun. I'm sure the surprise factor of the attacks is part of the game but a little warning could make it a lot more tense too

Really cool puzzles and mechanics! Controlls feel smooth and polished and it has a really relaxing atmosphere. Love how the level text is laid out to give clues as of how to solve each level

It's a really fun puzzle experience. I'm impressed by how you managed to make the sludge flow and affect the terrain surrounding it. Really creative idea!

Really nice idea for a fully polished game. Controls feel smooth and the overal atmosphere is very relaxing

Nice simple concept!  Gameplay was smooth and the instructions were simple enough. It would be a lot easier if the ball had a slower base speed and a buildup instead of darting from one place to another.

By far one of the most polished games I've played! Nice simple mechanic and smooth gameplay. Could be improved with well placed checkpoints but it is a really good

Loved the atmosphere and the puzzle mechanics. Very nice way of teaching children about numbers. Like spacenomad said, no music, but I don't think that will be needed at all given that the sound is done so well. One recommendation would be adding other math puzzles if that's the direction it will be headed eventually. Overall, solid game!

Really interesting and creative concept! I can really see a potential of this becoming a two player round based game on who can survive the longest if polished well. Good job achieving this despite doing this in your finals week. Hope you did well!

Really simple gameplay with a twist of horror. I'm really surprised this worked out so well with only a week to develop. Congrats!

I can see this was inspired a lot by the playstyle of enter the gungeon. Good music and sound effects. It was pretty fun to be able to use a lot of dashing mechanics for a familiar gameplay. Felt right at home with this one

Very pleasing music and sound effects. Loved the artstyle. Balance tweaks in the depleting energy or a safe station where you can rest and recharge your energy could be a great way of turning it into an exploration game!

Artstyle is really good. Love the retro style. However sound effects to warn of incoming enemies could have been nice to hear along with items to help in the way. Making the game more accessible to PC players could help a lot with improving the experience too

Good particle effects and nails the theme. Just some items and obstacles for a point system could do good though.

It's a challenging platformer with a really neat idea. It could have been much better if there were "mini" potions to consume in the way as checkpoints. Coyote frames and a faster jumping/moving time could help a lot with the platforming segments but overall, it was a pretty good game!

Some textboxes blocked out the store and it was kinda hard to interact with the UI. Sounds and Particle effects were on point though. Loved the shoot-ep up style gameplay

Very nice animations. Controls could be improved with more forgiving platforming such as coyote frames and easier obstacles for earlier stages of the level layout.

Very challenging. Got a "Keep talking and nobody explodes" vibe of it. Some puzzles could be improved greatly by clarifying some instructions. Very nice music though. Congrats!

Nice fitting music! Loved how the situation can quickly grow out of control as you try to delay the inevitable

Really simple fun game. Nice that you implemented the theme by assigning a single key for all the controls.

Could've just been a simple twin stick shooter if it weren't for the space key to directly control your speed. That was a nice addition to give more freedom to the player

OHHH didn't notice that! Really sorry. Game feels much better to play after knowing that

Loved the music! Levels were designed in such a way that no further instructions were needed to understand what you had to do. Really charming!

Loved the simple gameplay. Goes perfect with the theme and gets challenging to play once the cars start to pile up. Like Tyfus said: A scoring system could do really well to see how well you are performing

Great sound effects and music! Particle effects are beautiful but the gameplay gets a little repetitive. Adding an increased rate of item spawns and reducing the enemy speed might prevent the game from becoming too repetitive. But overall, amazing game and definitely one of the best!

Loved the music! It's a very creative mechanic that forces the player to remain calm when ghosts swarm you. Items that add variety to the gameplay could improve the experience a lot

Nice minimalist artstyle! Gotta confess I shot the mother on sight because I thought she was an enemy at first.

Nice effects and simple, easy to understand gameplay. Sounds could help a lot later on but it was a solid experience!

Been following the progress since day 1. Really happy with the result! Hard but really addicting! Making the mouse invisible as to prevent clicking away from the screen could help a lot!

Loved the duck. Animation and a time indicator could help a lot in creating a more intense experience.

Loved the game! Really simple, balanced gameplay. Love the binding of isaac style progression. Item and health packs making a choice of going for a defensive or offensive playstyle adds a lot to what could have been a basic twin stick shooter. Variety of weapons and levels could help a lot in the future. (obstacles for example)
