Great game! Loved the flying mechanic and the artwork <3
The fire was pretty hard to make out and maybe it would be cool if the goal of the game was communicated in some kind of way.

Hilarious! The movement of the squid is so funny, I love it. Great idea and execution, props!
GOod game ! It took me 2 tries to understand what was expected of me aha but that's just meI liked the controls and the gameplay, even though the controls can be a bittipsy at time. The concept was great !
Very innovative mechanic, the art is looking very clean and neat. Just a small feedback, I kinda went out of bounds the first time I played the game. maybe you can add some kind of wall or make the game over when player went out of bounds.
i like the idea. the right click uses more water than it takes to get to the destination with just left click. you might want to make some balance changes there. this is a good concept though. can't wait to see it get fleshed out
edit: also another idea would be to indicate where the fires are with arrows. i didnt know how many fires there were until i flew around the map. prob make some invisible walls so people don't fly out the map. this definitely has potential
The movement feels super nice! The visuals are also very pretty, but the squid can get a bit..stretchy...when moving quickly. Overall, nice game!
Really fun game! The movement is a great idea, I can see this being a full-on platforming game. I'd add some kind of fire counter or something like that to tell the player they are supposed to extinguish the fires. Initially, I went to the right and totally missed the board with instructions that are to the left and thought the fire was something to avoid. Great work, keep working on it! You got something special here!
I like the concept! Flying around was the most fun part imo, I also appreciate you put your bugs in the description too, putting out the fires was difficult just because of the movement component but overall great job!

Solid game! I love the movement mechanic, but it feels a little unpredictable. I think the fires are so hard to put out because when you squirt on them your squid flies in the opposite direction. The game could use a little more direction, but I still had plenty of fun just flying around.

Believe it or not, squids expel both :) They have a little siphon near/under the "cap" that they use to expel water for locomotion (as seen in the primary mechanic of this game). I believe the ink comes out the same siphon when the squid wishes to expel it.
I agree with you and the other commenters that mentioned how hard it is to put out the flames. I think the biggest issue is there's very little feedback other than the black smoke that the fire is taking "damage". Hopefully once judging is over I can get back in and fix some of the more frustrating bugs and clean up the sound/add music.

Thanks for the comment! I worried that the flames would be too hard to put out, but I wanted to make it difficult enough that the player couldn't get them all in one refill from the tank. I agree that they're too hard to put out. If I end up revisiting this, I'll definitely make it clearer (and easier).
