The level design is great, also the theme was implemented in an clever way, and the visuals and sounds are really good. Only thing, as some people said the movement could be improved.

A real fun puzzly dungeon crawler experience, with kill priority part of the puzzle that mixes well with the themes implementation. It could feel a bit smoother, but really enjoyed this.
- My favorite part was trying to balance the natural rogue-likeish dungeon crawler movement and puzzle order of getting to the enemies I needed to kill.
The music sound and visuals all compliment the simple but nice presentation of information. Great interface structure for playing the game.
I love level 4 haha.
- Navigation could have been a bit smoother, especially on the main menu. Starting at the top of the screen and having to step down from there every time after going to the credits/how to play felt real unnecessary. Glad you can at least hold the directions which is a nice QOL some don't have.
I love the art style, its such nice pixel art, Il just say that its a bit enoying that you die in one hit,but i guess this is a puzzle about timing.
Very good game. Visuals are on point, concept is clear and simple, puzzles are great. Well done on all of that.
What an incredible game! Absolutely love the visual and audio, the mechanic is very clever and fit the theme so well, and the game design is just brilliant, I love the puzzle and the invisible tutorial in each level to prepare me for the next, challenging but fair and very rewarding, the UI is also very nice and helpful, and the little details in the how to play screen is just lovely!
Probably the best game I've played so far! Fantastic job!
Hi! I had a lot of fun with this game. Some of the puzzles were pretty clever. I also really liked the aesthetic. I got stuck on level 11 after trying for a while to get the mirror enemy above me somehow, but I was never able to figure it out. One thing that would be helpful would be some kind of an indication that an enemy is going to move on the next turn. For enemies like the slimes and skeleton I sometimes felt cheated because I got hit when I thought they weren't moving that turn.
Great job Squid! The sounds, visuals, and details like the journal on the side make this game really cozy. The other comments are spot on :) I can feel the Necrodancer inspiration. Only suggestion would be to allow the player to move as fast as they want. Awesome job!
Wow this game is awesome! The music, gameplay, visuals, this game really knocks everything out of the park. Great job!
I really liked this game! The art is great and there are lots of clever puzzles here. My only real gripe was that the movement can feel a bit slow, but it's not too big of a deal.
Suuuper nice one. It reminds me of Crypt of the NecroDancer. The art is very very pretty and the level design is great. The only thing that bothered me was the character movement, after some time it feels a bit slow, specially if you have to re-play the same level a few times, I wanted to do the first part of the puzzle quickly but the game wouldn't let me, which was frustrating. Overall one of the best I played in the jam, keep it up!
Thank you! CoTN was indeed one of the major inspirations for this game (I have logged more than 550 hours in that game :D)
Regarding the movement, that's definitely one of the things I would prioritize improving when/if I revise the game, I completely agree with that. The problem is that it takes a while for enemies to do their turn (even if they don't move) so when there are many enemies it can feel unresponsive.
Other than that, I'm glad you appreciated my game!
An awesome game with great visuals, sounds, music, and gameplay! I really enjoy the puzzle aspect to this!! It fits the theme greatly!
Holy moly, this game's great. Music's good to listen to, the art looks good (especially for only using two colors), and the puzzles are just the right amount of difficult. Level 9, especially, took me a bit - but then was quite satisfying when I figured it out.
Some minor criticisms: first, the game is a bit laggy. I expect the player to move instantaneously, but the wee bit of lag I get makes it not feel very good in that regard.
Secondly (and take this less as a criticism and more as a suggestion, for if you ever continue this), it's not always easy to tell what an enemy is about to do next turn. Some visual indicators (such as facing the direction it's about to go) would be nice in that regard. Once I stuck around the level for a bit I was always able to figure out their patterns, but I'd like to be able to figure them out without waiting for them to do their whole loop.
I'm glad you enjoyed my game!
Regarding the lagginess, it's mainly because it takes some time for the enemies to complete their turn, so sometimes it can feel like it is unresponsive, and I agree with you, I just hadn't the time to fix some minor issues like this one (especially considering I done the game solo!)
Regarding the patterns I don't agree that much cause part of the puzzle solving is figuring out enemies' patterns (and they're simple enough to figure them out, and they're consistent between levels).
Other than that, I once again thank you for playing my game!
