The concept of this game seems interesting, though the map makes it difficult to traverse since there are no recognizable landmarks to orient with and the placement of the buttons in comparison to the player makes it difficult to switch quickly when an enemy appears to be able to kill them.

  • The button placement is a bit difficult to access, considering the fact the player needs to use the mouse both for picking the options as well as for aiming.  Which combined with the low health (below) lead to a lot of instances where I died to not being able to avoid a bullet due to the button placement and the location I was in.
  • The fact the player can only take one hit severely limits the ways you can play, not to mention it's not clearly conveyed to the player.  It definitely ups the difficulty which could be interesting, but in a game where you don't have access to the ability to fight back without stopping, clicking on a far button and then moving back to click by an enemy it leaves very little space for mistakes.
  • The map having no recognizable landmarks, no grid or anything, led to a lot of hugging the wall and just moving forever up or down.  It didn't help that it was incredibly big in general though.  Adding some sort of ground texture or even just a minimap could help.

Overall though the mechanics are interesting and the concept is executed well, I just feel like some QoL and some improvements on the map would help a lot.

I found the game to be pretty tough (even on normal mode), but it's definitely an interesting idea that could be expanded upon, and it's a very interesting take on the theme. Well done!

Cool concept and really interesting take on the theme. Great Job!

I really like the idea of taking away controls to make things more interesting! Good idea, guys, and I really like the game!

It's challenging... BUT IT'S SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! I really loved this one.

I don't agree with some of the comments, in my opinion, changing mode with a hotkey would take out the stressful part of the game, which makes it so exciting.

This game would do great for Levels with different objects to collect/avoid and mazes.

I liked the music and sounds as well.

My personal best is in Hard mode 19.

For sure challenging to say the least and I would agree with others that due to the nature of the main gameplay mechanic having a quick way to change between your functions would make it easier for the player to have an opportunity to do well. Clever interpretation of the theme, just needs little more polish on the design to help player be able to enjoy the game more :D

Great design. Maybe you could use 1,2 and 3 buttons to change functions.

The game was very innovative and fun, but it took me some time to understand the controls as there was no tutorial.

Pretty creative player movement mechanic. It only was really hard to switch from function with the mouse, maybe this could be changed to keyboard buttons?

Very creative use of the theme!!  I really like the challenging but rewarding gameplay when you get a hang of it. The art, music and voice acting is fantastic.

Overall a very good game! Awesome job!

I liked the game' though I didn't really see how the theme is represented in the game...

Really tough, but engaging as well. Good Job!

This was a pretty enjoyable game overall but I think that making the player aim with the mouse and pressing the buttons with the mouse is a bit wanky. You maybe could of made it so that 1 = shooting and 2 = moving sideways. I also think that shooting should of been on the left mouse button as that would made it a bit easier to shoot. This might be a nit pick but whenever I move the plain background makes it kind of hard to know where I'm going.

Other than that it's a good game and also pretty fun!
