Thanks for the feedback!

While not perfect, the bot is not random either (other than the first turn as there is no historical data to base its choice on).

If you could, would you mind filling this survey out for me as well? Thanks!

It's playable in browser and features local multiplayer (Just don't peak when it isn't your turn!)

Whoops! I didn't check the ratings again before I posted... My bad. I played it two nights ago.

Like an action movie rogue like.

Thanks for the feedback, will do!

It is too much of a guessing game right now.

I had originally thought the strategy would come from trying to anticipate the opponent's choice and deciding whether or not to just go for direct damage or attempt to chase a special effect.

The AI is built to rank it's choices based on past outcomes. So it doesn't just choose randomly (other than the first move.)

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

(1 edit)

Sure!

And maybe this is because I am familiar with games similar to this one, but the ramp up time for Blastsmith to become challenging for me took about five minutes.  I think this game could benefit from a small difficulty spike early on (like right after the first weapon is handed in), just something that lets the player know what obstacles will be coming if they continue to play.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback!

While not perfect, the bot does rank it's choice based on the outcome of previous rounds. You can test this by playing just one mode and the bot should start to play the counter more often than not.

Great, well polished game! Good music. Difficulty could use some tweaking.

Nice work!

Neat little game. Reminded me of Atari Adventure.

Good  music, love the character.

Some feedback: Changing directions is super hard to do as the acceleration carries over.

Nice work!

The visuals are great! I really enjoy the effects.

Some feedback: I think the ship should lock rotation when you start charging. Otherwise it's hard to control exactly where you are going to end up.

Nice work!

I like the idea that you can't hit zero or or more than one enemy.

Nice work!

I like the idea, however it is very hard to control. Great music and visuals. Good implementation of the "one bullet" mechanic.

Nice work!

Nice little game. The style and music are great.

Some feedback: There needs to be a way to prevent card spam. Maybe gaining a card only when you move? Like a risk\reward style mechanic?

Great work!

This game looks amazing and plays really well.

Should you be able to see yourself when lighting up an area? Or is it a "you can only see yourself or the enemies" deal?

Nice work!

Fun and challenging. One of the better "one platform" designs I have played. Great music and styling.

Some feedback: The platforms snapping to active is kind of distracting. maybe a more subtle transition?

Nice work!

I enjoy the styling and the concept. Nice work!

I enjoyed the concept. Using one item as the bullet and platform is a great idea. However, the physics and hit detection make this difficult to play.

Nice work! Cheeky theme.

Nice game. Enjoyed the teleport mechanic. Had to take a few tries to get it right.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! Maybe I will make it a setting in the future.

Thanks!

Thanks!

It's pretty good! I like the idea of having to associate a nonsense word to a shape and have to keep that mental dictionary in mind while processing other beings. The way that only one of the object is presented when it is introduced (not sure if that was intentional) is a good way of introducing each object. If anything, it could use a good in game tutorial.

Thanks for the feedback!

I adore the styling of this game. Simple and pleasant to look at. It was fun to discover the mechanics over the course of a few play-throughs  as well. I think the idea is very creative and could be expanded and improved upon.

Adding yours to my collection for tonight.

Nice

Alright, let's see some bad fan art!

It's like a combination of rock, paper, scissors and trading card games.
