Very good job on your game. I left some notes on rate page

Wow very good job with the wind. Amazed how well wind worked for so short jam. Very good job on the theme.

Some notes:
- Longer levels could maybe use some checkpoint system? Its kinda bummer to start all over after getting loong way.
- Some locations on levels felt kinda janky. I think at least on early game it would be nice to have easy to understand and "easy flowing" areas

Check out my shooter https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722687

I'll try your game now. Lets see what does it have

Looks very nice. Movement is quite wild though and i was able to just run over the doors (Maybe because 144hz monitor? You mention fixed time on your description so maybe too high framerate affects that)

Its alright. Few notes:
1) Some feedback about taking damage would really help. It took me a while to understand that i took damage from signs
2) Background other than solid gray could help bringing some atmosphere

Nice gameplay, very challenging. Camera shake was quite intense though when shooting.

Tutorial sure helped to get into the game. Graphics could use bit tweaking and maybe some sound indications about whats going on. Keep it up!

Charming for sure. Got stuck for a while in level 4 i think becausei dropped one of the threads thouguh

Great work! Well refined for its scope. Really liked how punchy punching was

Amazing entry. Gameplay, game design really top notch. Mechanics very well explained and graphics are excellent too. Great job!

(Game crashed though when i defeated the ice king :D)

Graphics looks fine and overall feeling is good. Maybe it could use little bit more game to it though

Great presentation and pretty fun game. Didnt really feel rewind theme on this one but it doesnt matter that much.

Good idea, fun gameplay. One tip about monsters though. It seemed that monsters hitbox is bigger than actual sprite. I think its recommended on 2d platformers that hitbox is actually smaller than actual sprite so player doesnt get that "THAT DIDNT HIT ME!" feeling. Also if hitbox is smaller than sprite player might get that satisfying "That was so close!" feel.

I liked that it didnt go regular time rewinding thing as most games. Pretty fun game. It could use some more indicators about whats going on (like turret is about to brake)

Thanks for playing. Congrats on making it to the boss. It might be bit too hard to get there and beat that :D

Good design. Quite interesting take to start with the boss. I was sad to give boots away though, i would argue that slowing down player is something games need to careful about

Basic idea of game is very fun. I like how absurd those upgrades gets after some time. There was some glitching on graphics though. Like lines between tiles

Nice little platformer. Jumping felt little bit janky sometimes but overall it was good.

Very good jam game. Game design is on point! (btw, i noticed there is bug that if you restart first level, message screen wont go away)

Quite fun. Rewinding came useful with those blind jumps (Not seeing next platform). I think generally blind jumps should be avoided in games, but good job with the game

Fine idea for a game. Movement could maybe be more snappy but overall its fine. Level design was very good for explaining concepts

(1 edit)

Fine little game. It could use some more color contrast between different elements though. Like background and enemies, and text elements

Quite fun with all the trek stuff. As some others have said, combat could use some work. Well done!

Very well done! Graphics and effects are on point. Also very well fitting audio

Nice. Gun switching was well done, as well as amazing explosion effects

Nice looking platformer. Player seemed to get bit sticky with some edges though when jumping around. It was really nice that it had totally different areas. Felt more like adventure

Very nice mechanics! That hologram system makes great gameplay. Aligning holograms was little bit tricky though, it wasnt so clear were it would appear

Thanks, i agree on your points. Good points to consider for next game.

I tried pressing every button when i reached guy at the end but nothing happened :D
Maybe i did something wrong

Really liked graphics. There was some z-indexing issues though, i think some object were clipping over others

Wow, Excellent game. Very beautiful and rewinding mechanic is best ive seen so far

Quite a fun piece to play. I really liked arrival animation! Bullets are super slow mo though :D

Audio is quite nice. But i agree with jacksontheel's comment about rhythm

Could use some more instructions. Had hard time figuring out what to do

Great game! I really liked how smooth everything is. Really good looking as well

Cool concept for sure. Keep it up.

Clicking things worked little bit janky though. Like movement would not always register

Nice music. I couldnt finish second level though. I got to end and nothing happened.

Well done, different forms of player is very nice mechanic. Jumping was heavy though :D
