What do you like about your game?
I like the Dream Peeker mechanic (hides/shows the purple and pink blocks with the eye effect). Didn't have enough time to make proper levels revolving around the mechanic though...

Really liked the puzzles!

I really like the aesthetic of the game. It looks very good and polished. The dream peeker mechanic probably has potential for puzzles.

I really like this games art and it was also very fun! Very well made platformer and I'd love to see more levels!

the dream peeker mechanic is a dream peak mechanic because it's so cool! the squash and stretch on the boxes when you hit them also added so much charm, really reminds me of old nintendo games. however, that did leave a little to be desired on the slime's animation, a little squash and stretch for the jump would be excellent, and i think a little toned down on the force of gravity would also be great if you expanded it. i wish it were longer honestly (in a way it has infinite levels right now lol, they're just all level 4 again) on the controls i think the z and x work, but maybe a run button (or even an air dash!?!?) could really make platforming way cooler. well done, absolutely adore the style.

I saw this on my feed and thought to give it a little try xD The item pick-up mechanic that changes the world around you is really cool! I like that a lot. The mechanics were simple, yet were great. My only issue was that sometimes jumping, the boxes didn't flip state, and I kept falling a few times. But other than that, I enjoyed every bit of this!

Interesting. I saw someone else run into that but I was never able to recreate it. I'll have to look into that.

But yea thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Hi! I come from your post on discord. Your pixel art is really clean, I wish I had this level when I made my first game jam. The main mechanic is pretty cool too and the character feels responsive.

Just two things though:
-I NEED MORE :p
-I think it would be better if grabbing was a toggle, instead of maintaining the X key. (for some reason my keyboard didn't like when I had X+Z+right arrow pressed and Z didn't register so I had to jump first, and then press right, so a toggle for X would be nice here)

Otherwise really good game with very good pixel art (+ You gain a bonus Godot point <3)

Cute lil game that I enjoyed. I like the sprite work you drew and I think the little slime is so cute! I really liked the effect with the dream peeker item and thought it could house a lot of potential. Maybe have it like an item the player always has but only has limited uses per level.

I liked this game. Arcade character movement is always tricky to make, but yours feels really good, super easy to perform all the jumps.

Short but pretty fun! The art is really nice and I actually really like the little music loop. The Dream Peeker thing is pretty cool, I hope you do more with it in the future!

The thing with the item that has an effect on the environment is a real nice approach to the theme of the jam. Would love to see more of this mechanic in the game.

Impressive your diverse skills in sound, art and polished game development. thumbs up

I liked the hide/show mechanic. Great job

Gorgeous pixel art and polish, really loved everything about this game, the platforming was a nice challenge to get all the crystals. Great take on the theme as well. Awesome job

It feels very polished and fun to play, too bad it was so short, very nice pixel art too.

It’s a shame the game was cut short due to time constraints, but I have to say that the levels that were there were really well made and show off some pretty cool mechanics.

This game is awesome and I love the hide/show mechanic! I wouldn't worry about the number of levels, I think it's an impressive amount of content given that it's a jam game. I could definitely sink more time into this one!

Fun game, holding item while moving is quite challenging.

Submitted(+1)

Fun game, I like the holding of the object instead of it being a toggle, it adds some extra complexity!

Nice game! I love that you can see "another world" Also very nice looking game. I would just change the visual of some buttons. I didn't understand that some button can be used (like in the first level !)

Congrats for your game!
