What do you like about your game?
I really enjoyed making this game. It was my first RPG and Roguelike. I tried to make a spin on SMT combat by introducing aberration elements through dice. Striking weaknesses prevents enemies to attack. I also found it very rewarding developing the random level generator.

Nice game! I love collecting creatures for my party! I like the style a lot! At one point I had a party of mostly geese (epic). I made it to level 11. Does it just keep going or is there an final level that I haven't reached yet? Also, was there a way to restore the sp for your creatures? I felt like I could only use them for a little while before it became more beneficial to swap it out with a creature with fresh sp points. I didn't really want to do that since I get attached to the ones already in my party lol.
One thing I think I should mention, is that the portal's glow sometimes gives away it's location in the maze. It colors the ground and part of the wall a little even if I am on the opposite side of the wall.
Thanks for playing my game!
It is endless but there is technically level where you start seeing the same formations over and over but that's at like level 75ish which is incredibly difficult to reach currently.
Yes, it was an intentional choice to make it so creatures can't regenerate SP. You constantly need to cycle the party and alter your game plan as you progress, adding some 'abbreviations' to your strategy as you will.
The portal light leaking through the wall was an oversight but in my limited testing, I found it more helpful having the light than not when it came to navigating the maze. Because of that I decided to include it (and totally not cause I couldn't figure out how to stop it).
Thank you for your considerate comment and hopefully that answers your questions.
Ah, that makes sense. Great game! I also really liked the creature design too. They all had some charm to them.
I love the collecting all the friends! The mazes are fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it will be like once music has been added.
Thanks for playing my game.
I'm glad you enjoyed forming your party with fun creatures from parallel dimensions.
Music would be good to add but will be a hard find a good match for.
That was really good! I think after adding some music, creature sounds na tweaking UI and adding a tutorial it would be banger, I think you can do a lot with this. I also enjoyed the grid-like moving around the map
Thanks for playing my game!
I do agree that the UI does need to be remade, and music would be good too. Animal sounds would be a nice to have and a general combat tutorial would go a long way. I did attempt to bandaid fix a tutorial in the games description.
I think some tweaking to the gradual increase of difficulty could be good but other than that I like the aesthetics and gameplay. It did legitimately feel very satisfying finding the portal every time or collecting a new friend and sometimes only just making it to the next realm on <10 hp. I think the art style and aesthetics are very cool and remind me of the first part of Inscryption.
I'm glad you liked it. I agree that the difficulty curve is a wall and will need to be adjusted in the future. Thank you very much for playing!
Great Little game, i found myself stuck playing longer than I planned. It has the bones of a super addicting little twist on the pokemon genre.
Thank you so much for playing my game and thank you for the kind words!
Neat game! I'm also a jrpg fan, tho I've mostly played persona. It IS hard to know what the aberration die actually do though, and combat seems to fly by so quick. I got to the 10th realm but only cuz I managed to not encounter any enemies from realms 2-8 so I was under staffed by the time 3 enemies showed up to kick my ass lol.
I get the time limit wasn't long but it would have been nice to have some text explaining whats happening you know?
Yeah, I totally see that. I tried to remedy that a bit with the games description but it would've definitely been nice to have a tutorial. Thanks for playing regardless! :)
i collected the pets and cruise through everything till we met blue crocodile on floor 7 and murdered us all.
Yep, they tend to do that. The creatures around 7-10 are over-tuned for what you are expected to fight. I'll definitely need to tone down their strength or increase the parties in future updates. Glad you made it as fair as you did none the less! <3
Cool game, first enemy jumpscared me
Sorry about that lol. Hope the wolf became a good companion.
