I think it is an interesting blend of two genres.

the curse is simple yet so creative, also witch really scared me. 10/10 story wonder how hard it was to code it in C
p.s. love the supportive family and villagers
Thanks! Glad you like it.
Coding it in C wasn't too bad, except for the collision stuff. That is always a little tricky.
Great game, I liked the “twist”, wasnt expecting that, I would have liked if the game would focus more in that “curse” though.
Thanks, I probably would have added another room or two if I had time lol.
Great game with a great story. A standout of this jam.
Thanks!
"sorry, Bink, I can't give credit"
cool game
Took me a second to get that lol
I live for Bink Blast, this one was really fun! The black on black walls in the cave made it difficult to navigate at times, but otherwise this was a short and sweet game!
Thanks! I think you are right. I probably should have made the ground color of the cave a little lighter to make the walls stand out.
Fun game with a unique twist! I quite liked the writing, especially the kid that was foreshadowing the curse, because I didn't see it coming, and when the rocks tell you to press C to go "north" I thought that was quite clever. Anyway, great entry :)
I wasn't expecting that twist in gameplay. I liked it :)
I had no words for what was awaited me but in the end it was amazing. Masterpiece only word I can say. Be proud of yourself.
Thanks!
What a cool twist halfway through! A great example of "using all the buffalo" :P
Thanks!
I really like the sound effects!
Thanks! Pretty much all the sounds were made with the Roland Sound Canvas, which a lot of older games used.
