Late reply I know wasn’t looking here for a while. I played this update for a bit and is so much more fun now! I think even some npcs were happy with what I did 😂 you did great, sounds like a lot of work

Well it was not a main feature, but I wanted to implement online multiplayer. Learning Godot took so long tho

It took a while to figure out, but in the end was extremely fun to play! As many said it really needs some tutorial, but still for 7 days this seems like a lot of work. I had great fun!

Thank you very much! The single player was added mostly because of debugging purposes (wow is it hard to play test multiplayer only game :(( ), but at least I hoped for some time-based leaderboard in the future to make singleplayer have more sense. Also online multiplayer is also planned, which might make it more fun too! Anyway glad you had fun and test it with friends, hope you will have some laughs

Very cute and addicting gameplay. I was actually able to beat it on the second try (there might be too much health freezing ability spawning?), but overall I had great fun. The movement and music were very smooth I loved it

Really relaxing game with great and cute art style. Love the music and the sound effects. The only thing I found was that it was really hard to know where to click sometimes. Overall great game!

Really fun. I liked that there was tutorial and the little animation whilst shooting. I think this makes the game appear really fast and chaotic. On the other hand I am not the biggest fan of the mechanic of destroying the walls or at least is seems to slow sometimes then the player is “in the zone”. Otherwise I had fun, great game!

That was really fun! I liked the animations, sound effects and the fact we could change the color of our fish. It really only lacks a tutorial, as I did not know what star and umbrellas do for a long time

Thank you very much!

Very impressive. I loved the little menu animations, they really made the game look more lively. The main mechanics were very cool too, but I would love some minimap and health bar on some stronger fishes. Overall very good game I enjoyed it!

That was so fun! I really liked the art work and the mechanics. I really think its a solid game that after some updates (more sound effects, some meter for dash ability, multiplayer meaby?, more mechanics) would be ever better. Great job!

Thank you so much for leaving a comment and playing! The third level is wayy to difficult, but I did not have any more time to do more levels to make that curve a bit smoother, but I wanted to show what can be done at this current stage. Definitely gotta fix this, glad you had fun!

Thank you, don’t even what to tell you as you nailed every point. I know the pretend-ability-meter is in a bad position as I did not know where to put it really. Meaby directly under the player model? Anyway thanks for playing, glad you had fun!

I loved the humor on this one, it was great. The voices, sounds, environments and constant jam-themed gags were lovely! The only thing really I could pick on is the default mouse sensitivity. Overall great main menu for a game 10/10

Thanks! I definitely need to make more puzzles with more subtle difficulty curve and add some new mechanics to not make it boring after a while. Glad to hear it was fun!

Thanks! Yeah I will have to work on the “death” mechanics a bit after the jam. It’s a hard game at times and the death music is sooo annoying after a while too. Glad you had fun!

Jam games aren’t made without sacrifices o7

Loved the game! The story was captivating and I feel you did a great job with writing, narration and world building. There were moments where it felt like walk simulator tho, but I still had fun! Great game

I loved the music somehow I felt that it really matched the tempo of the game. I also liked the concept and I think there could be more maps and more types of guns and/or abilities for example, it would make it more interesting. I think you can do a lot with what you have good job!

Very pretty game, but the amount of information at the beginning was a tad confusing. Overall very funky!

That was fun! The only issue I have is that when death is required in a level (for example to leave my previous self a platform) it teleports me to the start (some checkpoints would be nice).

Anyway great job, I fell like the space intermediate level could be expanded upon into more open map.

Hi! I wanna try out this game, but I think like the web build is a bit bugged for me (low fps/cannot move). How can I run the provided .c3p file?

I really liked it! I loved the idea of random upgrades, so that each player can prioritize what they want. I have some issues tho that I think could be easily solved and they would improve the quality greatly. For example the dash ability should not be in the direction of the mouse/shooting, but rather in the direction of movement as it would made defense strategy more clear and would cause less scarily fast mouse movements. Also in my playthrough the copies of my clime from the diverge ability keept stucking of walls causing me to loose them, and on my death cause me to teleport half a map away to play as them, so it would be nice if game would check for the distance to main palyer and teleport them or use some path finding.

Other than that I found the game quite fun. Great job!

That was such a cute game! I like how cats being cats nails the jam theme. The cats changing opacity while behind trees was a nice touch to add depth to the game. ALSO the laser pointer movement was just adorable idea. Loved this one!

I wanted the game to look like the player is using some old retro/arcade machine with CRT display to “detach” us from the gameplay, I think it gives the game this certain “vibe” that is creepy/dreamy. Thanks for trying it out!

I though it was really clever. Meaby in the future it could be expanded into something like There Is No Game. Also loved the 8th level

Damn I loved those when I was younger (never played upside down tho)! It was weirdly relaxing even though it was hard. I like the color palette and the mechanics

That was really good! I think after adding some music, creature sounds na tweaking UI and adding a tutorial it would be banger, I think you can do a lot with this. I also enjoyed the grid-like moving around the map

That was fun! I liked the sound effect and they styles of different bosses. It was a bit buggy, for example it lagged for me each time I pressed any mouse button (but not while holding it), but other than that I had my fun! Great job

I really like the concept of quantum physics being turned into somewhat tactical defense/shooter game it was really interesting. I would like if the dialogue was skippable by player input and not based on time, but other than that I had fun!

I am impressed that you did it in C++! I used to learn it as my first language back in high school and it since was my #1 enemy, but I am glad you were able to conquer it! I would not have the patience. The ball could go faster as time went on, because I legit was playing for 5 minutes and no scores were set on any side (i’ll take it as my win tho)

I think it’s a great game on par with the theme! The long animation and constant running for cubes was a bit tiring at the beggining, so some sort of ability to grab a few of them at once could be nice meaby? Overall I had fun tho and I think you could develop and expand on it way more!

Thank you I appreciate it! I am proud of those sound effects they were fun to do!

Would be nice if the dialogues would not skip on themself, but rather on user mouse/button click as they were too fast to read at times. Other than that it was a fun game with great atmosphere. I found it confusing at the start, but when I picked up what I was doing it was really enjoyable. Great job and continue to create good games!

Thanks!

As far as first games can go it seems really good! I think you should go and do more amazing stuff in the future

Damn this game is so underrated i think. I loved the battle mechanic, the music and sound effects. The graphics with the post-processing were so polished too! I loved it

That form of style is often in some creepy games too, meaby after this jam I could expand on this a bit.

The UI was a bit confusing at the beggining, but overall I had fun! Very interesting concept that works well with the theme.

Thank you!
