I quite liked it, especially the constant tension generated by the bugs.
Great take on a classic horror game mechanic - the trusty torch! I like how the torch here becomes a weapon to stave off the creature with light, which is animated very well. The layout is designed well as an avoidance and collection horror game with a similar model to Slender, except here there's a door system that adds nice pacing between safe and risky spaces. There's plenty of possibilities to take this further, including playing with the direction and radius of light to make it less effective, and designing enemy pathfinding and AI to make encounters less predictable and require quick thinking and a little strategy. Another direction is to consider environmental storytelling - other than text, how can the design of the game space and the things in it help convey a narrative about the game and the world the player is in? Looking through your portfolio it is also clear that you are both prolific and that skills have progressed enormously into developing 3D games - and that is awesome to see. I hope you keep at it!
Thanks for being a part of the Scream TV jam!

I liked the narrative, or you being the only person left after a screen haunting because you happen to not have a screen, definitely makes one feel alone in the world kind of thing.
I could see this idea developed further, like creating safe spots for yourself by turning on bright lights (maybe the first part of the game you wouldn't even have a flashlight, that'd be pretty gripping).
Decent execution. Thanks for your efforts
Quite fun to play and got me spooped! The enemy clips through the door and it scared me >.< Has replayability and can be expanded into a fun little indie title. Keep it up!
I’m glad you liked the game but I would really prefer it if you rated it based on its merits, not because you yourself want a high rating. That way, I truly know what I’ve done well and what needs improving. I take the time to rate accurately to my opinion and give thoughtful critique to the games I play so other developers can improve as well. High ratings don’t get you anything and I’m not giving your game 5 stars because you asked me to. It feels unfair to me, almost like cheating. I’ve noticed you leave the same comment on games that don’t even work- I hope you change this attitude in the future because it is really unhelpful.
I had fun figuring out the optimal route and avoiding the monster.
The monster design is really good, gave me the creeps!
The game is really cool! There is a lot of potential. The music is really great, and the mood is pretty neat!
Just one thing : you can abuse the flashlite by spamming it so the battery isnt running out hehe
Man that was stressful, and creepy. Really like the aesthetics and the gameplay, it's challenging but fun. Now I just have to get good enough to beat it lol
I kept getting killed through walls it seemed like. I'd go to open a door with my light on and boom dead even though the monster was down the hallway or room.
Such a cool game, I feel identified with the game because I kind of try to avoid screens turning them all off as much as I can, even turning my phone down from time to time. I managed to turn off all the screens, the model of the monster was cool and the animations, it was quite a fun challenge. Good job! 👏
I liked the initial presentation; the timing gives it a cinematic touch. Aesthetically and gameplay-wise, it's good, but the darn monster, alias 'little lights,' if it gets close to you even a bit, you can forget about everything else XD. I had a great time playing it. Good job!
Very creepy! Challenging and fun at the same time. The jump scare got me a few times :D
