That was neat! I liked the twist that the entity that reaches out to you, chides you for being selfish and rotten, becomes sympathetic. I'm assuming it's the same homeless person that the video store owner kicked out was the one that made the video. Seemed like they just wanted to not feel alone anymore, and felt like they had to lash out and be threatening for anyone to give them the time of day.
I like horror games like this one, and I wish more games were like it. Thanks for being in this game jam!
nice concept! unfortunately i got stuck on a black screen right after going out of the apartment to go to the sewers. :(
Oh no, this must really be a design issue on my part as others have mentioned it too! :(
You enter the sewer in total darkness and need to toggle your flashlight with [F] to see properly.
Cool concept! Unfortunately after receiving the picture and leaving the apartment, I couldn't do anything :/

the game looks very cool, but unfortunately my mac doesn't want to run it :( It says I don't have permissions to run it, am I doing something wrong? apple is a pain for gaming
That's unfortunate. Now, from what I read in the docs of my game engine (Godot 4), it states:
"macOS will run only applications that are signed and notarized"
But perhaps you could fix it by scrolling to the bottom of this webpage and following the instructions for the last case (running an unsigned app, the notification there might be the one you are getting):
Godot 4.2 Docs - Running Godot apps on macOS

nice! Thank you I will try that!
Neat storytelling, I only wished there was some more tension and a sense of urgency to get away from something.
Kudos for picking up 3D for the first time, really cool stuff, I liked how the store clerk turned out!
Enjoyed playing this. The story is unique and it has a nice atmosphere. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)
This was fun! It felt like some of the gameplay sections could have been elaborated a little bit to increase the tension, like the end of the sewer could have been more effective with more of a buildup. All together, I really liked the voiceover and the premise, and the animation on the TV was quite cool. Nice work!
Quite a show with this one!
I genuinely enjoyed playing this. It was very simple, yet at its core had a unique story, with details and overall good atmosphere. Great job!
Best of luck with the game jam and future developments. Cheers!
(I will leave the review here as well)
Really enjoyed the aesthetic of this! Little details like the empty video store with the spider webs on the shelves was cool! Also, this is so well written. The conversation flows smoothly and the bit at the end is so easy to visualize. Keep it up!
I enjoyed this a lot! The shaders in the sewers added a nice touch and complimented the story metaphorically. I also enjoyed the TV dude's model. I'd recommend having a little bit of light on in the scene when you first load in to the sewer, however. Rad that this is your first 3D project, we're alike on that for this jam! Great work!
This was fun! The moment in the sewers where the person was standing too far away to make out was a great use of the pixelated/retro aesthetic. The face on the TV screen was more goofy than scary, but this was still an enjoyable experience. I'm excited to see what you make in the future if this is your first 3D game!
Hey, thank you so much for that well-written feedback! I need to make sure to check out your stuff now ^^.
I didn't run into any bugs or anything but I didn't realise I was actually controlling my character in the sewer because my light wasn't on. I thought it was a load screen.
Thanks for the feedback, perhaps just a little bit of ambient light would have helped :D.
