For everyone with the same issue, you can fix your save file by finding "pushes__Data" and adding "days": [0,0,0], so it looks something like this:

After I hired her and she popped up on screen to give the trait related recruitment message, her eyes looked normal, though she was missing the accessory.
Once I got back to the game, however, the other idol I had already hired before the above screenshot got the same messed up image from this audition on her entry in the idol list instead of her own image (which was fine in the audition).

I did save, close the game and make backups of output_log.txt, as well as the save, in case you want me to send them in. The issue with the messed up portraits in the idols list persists even after restarting the game and loading the save again.

Speaking of hiatus, when you hover over an idol on hiatus, the tooltip does not show the return date.
I can confirm. It only says that the idol will return at... and then blank where the date should be.

It has happened a lot of time, and the only solution that i have found is to go to the main menu and relaunch my save
Update: I still can't play cries a little. See, in pic one it starts up fine??? Then literally all I get is black and the program isn't responding. I've tried compatibility, I've tried redownloading plenty of times and I'm getting frustrated cause I don't know if it's my computer ( then I really need to figure out why!! Cause it plays another game I have on here just fine??? ) oooor it's the game or even a mix of both. Is anyone else experiencing problems like this, or is it just me ; w ;

that's the weird thing!! it used to work fine, then when i tried downloading the latest patch 9 / 9.1 it stopped completely loading and i don't know why!! ): I will email you, because I don't.. really want a refund haha? This is actually an issue with your computer! It's (probably) happening because Windows 7 only supports DX11.0 features, but the game needs to access DX11.1 features. You can fix this by installing either this platform update, or if that doesn't work, just updating your computer to the latest version of Windows 7.
I'll probably fix it in the next update in a few days, but for now you should be able to fix it like this:

For one reason or another, I keep getting this event popping up and I'm unable to make any decision. I also don't have any idols going by that name. So I don't know what's going on, but it keeps disrupting my ongoing save every time I load in.
both it and the politician event every so often are acting glitchy not responding to clicks or poping up 3 or 4 times when you click a option.
sometimes it just doesnt let you do any actions sometimes it works fine

This, surprisingly, actually worked for me.
While I did had to change hairstyles of some idols to hairstyles that were in the 9.1 version the save did load in the 9.1 version and spawned a different, closeable, event. Then that 9.1 save loaded fine in the 10.0 game and I could continue.
But it really isn't a viable, permanent, solution.
Hit the same bug last night.
As it stands, the full screen and event lockup bugs are for all intents and purposes, game killing. The game is currently virtually unplayable.
Yep also got this bugged event. After closing the game and reopening the auto save file the game continuous like the event didn't happen but after a week it pops up again in all its game ending glory, it really is a game ender.
Kinda disappointing that this bug is still here, considering it isn't exactly a rare bug apparently.
I just had to force the game to quit because I got an empty dialogue, myself. I think this is my log? For context I have 10 idols, the only rooms/staff I currently have are my office, two managers, and the break room, and I just launched an internet show a few days before the dialogue started up.
Found a smallish bug while trying to save scum for a audition. When you save just before an audition, say just before you would click that A symbol, and then reload that save, the idols that are presented in the audition screen and the ones you actually get are disconnected. The stats and ability do stayed synced correctly.
To make it more clear, here I reloaded the save because I didn't like the results and tried again. These are my choices this time:
I hire the one selected and finish as usual. But at the introduction screen I get greeted by a completely different avatar
The stats are exactly the same though, only the appearance has changed.
And that is as clear as I can make it. From here on out the game uses the new appearance correctly and no further weirdness is experienced. This only happens if I reload and use the same 'prepared' audition, if I cancel and plan a new audition the disconnect doesn't happen at all.
I'll upload the 2 save games, just in case.

If you load the save again and click the A again, do you still get different people? And when you accept one (say the left-most one), does it generate the same avatar?
And if you try it again, do you get yet another different set of people with different set of stats, and when you select the one at the same position as the last one, does the avatar still be the same as the previous test?
These tests are used determine which things (idol names, stats, avatars) are generated, and which were already decided when the audition was completed. They can also help sadambober zero-in to the fix.
Or I suppose you could peek inside the save game. It's in JSON, so it's quite easy to change into a human-readable format.
Closing and starting the game before loading the save does clear the 'corruption', and you get the results as described in the first point .
So my guess is that the game doesn't clear/reset some variables correctly when loading a save while not closing the game.
Yeah, that's a bug. If you want you can edit your save file

Find "data_girls__Girls", find your idol in there and change "status": 6 to "status": 0
Just a note, I was having the same problem and this worked great for me, but I also had to edit the auto_save file to save my hiatus'd idol--I think because I used "save and quit" when I quit out of the game before editing the save files. So, yeah, if anyone tries this and it doesn't work, I'm guessing editing both the manual AND auto save will do the trick.

Hi, I'm seeing a glitch where after an event happens and I click out of the screen, it blurs out the rest of the game and I'm not able to do anything else so have to force close the game and restart. Sample screenshot attached - this happened immediately after one of my idols graduated. I'm playing on the latest version, 10.1.

This actually happens if you played before the update but started a new game after updating.
You can try to load an old save once (this will "reset" the game) and then continue playing your new save, or delete everything from this folder

Another option is to open your new save file with a text editor and replace "version":"Beta #11" with "version":"Beta #10"
Unfortunately, none of these things worked :(
Something I noticed was that although only the blurry screen came up, I could still hover my mouse over where the portraits would be and click there - but doing so would crash the game immediately.
After I changed Beta #11 to Beta #10, it no longer crashed when I clicked the ghost portraits, but I couldn't get out of the screen either

Hi, in the new version released today, I'm not able to load into my previously saved up file when I click Continue from the main menu. I can hear the game music and I see lines appear on the loading screen. It almost looks like the game has loaded behind the loading screen, but I'm not able to access anything.

Okay, I removed everything from the portraits folder and reloaded the save. I waited about 5 minutes this time since I do have a large save file. These are the folders that I have in portraits now so it looks the same as what you have. But unfortunately I'm still seeing the issue and not able to load this particular file.

I agree about auto save having gotten worse. Before, auto save would bring me right to the moment before the game crashed. Now I'm losing entire concert performances, upgrading song genres, song releases, etc. I was fine with the game crashing before because auto save was so good but now I lose so much!

I'll try replacing those files with their original versions, see if that fixes it. Just for some extra context, I managed to play Beta #11 for over 2h with the updated, translated files before this issue started happening. Maybe it was something I changed in one of the files between last night and today, but either way, I'll send you the translated files.
Okay, you just missed commas in vars.json, adding them should fix it. Btw you can use something like Sublime Text to edit files, it can highlight errors
Just realized as well that the game definitely isn’t awarding those same awards that aren’t upticking (gravure, variety, fashion). They were awarded the first year but not the two after that. Also iirc the hosts/game doesn’t give out awards for anything your own group isn’t nominated for? (Ie the first year every award was assigned to a group but now only things you are eligible for are mentioned.) Is that a bug or purposeful?

A little reticent to go with the first fix listed because if you asked to find something called Glitch Pitch on my computer, I would be searching for days since it does not exist. It is the same for anything to do with LocalLow or even something called Data in regards to the Idol Manager folder. Overly cautious, I guess.

I think the bug is caused by media shows with 10 stars fame, so I had to cancel two of your shows. I'll fix this in the next update, but for now you have to make sure you don't have any shows like these (e.g. by assigning a host with < 10 fame).

Rooms you build on the floor you start with are supposed to be rent-free, right? Or did that change in an update? Because as far as I know, that's not actually the case. It's not a problem to me either way, it's just that you're told that the floor is rent-free when building rooms in it, like I did with this office here, when again, that isn't actually the case.
No matter how much money I earn it seems to always be stuck saying "bankruptcy in 29 days." It never updates to a different amount of days and never goes away even with over ¥3 million saved up.
Also not sure what happened here but it was kind of confusing when all of this popped up at the same time. Akari simultaneously lost 30 points, immediately gained them back, and then lost them again all at once, while Yuna did the opposite and gained 30 points, lost 30 points, and then gained 30 points back all at the same time. This chain of events seems kind of unreaistic to all occur at the exact same time.
This happened to me as well. It added 2 group scandal points when I reopened the game and after I tried to remove them by firing a staffer the time froze.
Edit: I went back and tested it and when I fired one of my staffers that I've had for a long time it worked fine, but when I hired a new staffer and immediately fired them the tooltip listed that it took 2 scandal points but when the window popped up I could only take off one and then after I closed the window the time froze again.
I found a bug that can cause this - it happens if you fire a staffer when your staff tab is in compact view. You'll have to switch to the full view every time you need to fire someone until the next update.
Another related bug - hovering over a staffer in the building view to show their tooltip and then firing them. Can be avoided by hovering over another staffer, before firing that first one.

Everytime I play, no matter what I try , The game freeze during April 2029. I dont know what to do. I restarted my pc, I tried to load from a different save file. I dont know if I'm doing things wrong. Am I the only one having this bug? or it's part of the game?

I don't know if the star symbol broke it or something but it was fine at first, then as he kept talking, it sort of fell apart.
Edit: I found another bug! One of my idols graduated and found a successor, but it seems that another idol of mine has confused the successor with the graduated one. Even when I hover over the profile, it shows me the stats of the graduated idol.

I do not understand how the recent average idol earnings are considered. Or why is the recent average earnings equal to all-time earnings divided by 4?
Example: I have an advertising contract for 56 k per week, then the average and all-time earnings will change as in the table below

Styling doesn't actually cost any stamina, so that's okay. But the rent is a bug, thanks, I'll check it.
So, i've been playing the game for a couple of days and so far i've come across two bugs, the first one is when i load a save sometimes all the idols from my idols list disappear, reloading doesn't fix the bug but restarting the game fixes it so i'm not too bothered. the second one, im not really sure if this is a bug or not, but the time stops when i hit February 4, 2022. the animation still plays but the time,practice, business, and other bars stops moving. i tried waiting but the bars never start moving again. ill start another save in the meantime to try and see if its just a one time bug or not. anyways, Good luck on the game, its been great so far. 1. Launch the game, load your save file
2. There's a doctor on the second floor, Yamauchi Saki. Cancel her task. (For anyone else having this issue, you can try canceling tasks of all staffers).
3. You can unpause the game now and it should work

I'm reworking the way modding works, and because of that custom sprites don't work in this version. They should work again after the next update.

This actually seems to happen regardless of whether or not I have the idol - the amount displayed after you hit negotiate, whether you succeed or fail, is often incorrect and doesn't match what it should be.
Some more:
If I'm dragging an idol to socialize and that idol is automatically pulled into another room (practice, styling etc) the idol's portrait gets stuck on the mouse cursor. Nothing breaks and you can drag a different idol to make it go away. Edit: "Socialize" gets stuck on display on your room, though, and that doesn't go away.
Switching from Compact view to Full view for idols will add an extra copy of the idols list every time (so you get to the last idol and under it will be the whole menu including the "new group" button).
Compact view does not show idols in sister groups.
Canceling a practice/styling/doctor session by clicking on the idol portrait or using the idol menu will make the staffer idle. Doctors are especially buggy since their auto actions are still toggled on, and so you need to toggle a new action or deselect an old one to make them work again.
The "no critical failure" card for concerts doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Trying to release a non-election single with the election concert ready to go triggered the concert music and locked the game. Upon closing and reloading, it automatically started the concert with buggy (white square) idol portraits and didn't release the non-election single.

You can't set an automatic style in the "auto practice" menu for idols (it doesn't select the option and will de-select any other options you have).
If you click promotion/performance/spa treatment right as the day is about to end with an active queue, it replaces the next item on your queue.
If you remove items from the queue when it's full, you can't queue up additional things until the next day.
I made a separate thread about this, but I'm concerned it'll be missed if it's not also included in this thread, so I'm posting here as well. In the "auto practice" menu for an idol (see attached picture), you can select the first 4 options ("Don't practice" through "Dance") but not the last 5 options ("All visual params" through "Pretty").

On the 19 update, when I pass my mouse over the idol doing activities in the compagny I get this :
Sometimes, it just a few stats that are replace by ''cute : 76'' but it's always the same number and it's for all of my idols.
I think something disappeared...I have no buzz and I don't gain fan from the buzz when releasing a new single. 
In this instance, I'm trying to select a Preferred Proposal with a standard click. Menu items with check boxes are not selectable for me this way. (or I'm doing something wrong)
