I finally looked into this and... sure enough I had done exactly what I shouldn't have, which is place my custom sprites in the game folder and not the mod folder. I actually hadn't even created a mod... which I just learned how to do!

it doesn’t, but I found a temporary fix. If I do any sprite changes while playing 17 I can then update to 18 and play. Just can’t change any sprites after that, which isn’t that big of a deal. That’ll do for now!

Nervermind, I can't start a new game and if I edit a single thing in my save file the save doesn't load. Even going back to the previous save doesn't help. So I'm back to playing version 17.

Gave a quick test to the update and it works great! Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Will the bug preventing players from using custom skins be fixed in this update?

I'm encountering a big issue with my game. I made some custom clothing, faces and hair and I had no problem having it work in the game until tonight. I hadn't played for a long time and wanted to change the look of some of my girls, so I modified my save file (which I have done countless time without any issue.)

The problem is that I can't open my save file anymore. I also can't start a new game, because when I start an audition, nothing happens. I tried clearing the cache, it doesn't help... The only fix is deleting all my custom content (which didn't cause any trouble before but for some reason apparently does now.) It's really strange and I'm kind of at a loss right now, as I have no idea how to fix the game without losing my save and all the content I created :/

I'm playing 17.5 and I believe it was the first time I modified the save file with this version of the game.

I really hope we will be able to disband a group in the full game or a future update.

throwing a graduation concert would be so great. I do it “unofficially” but sometimes it messes up my plans, because you only know a member’s graduation date 3months in advance.

Ideally the graduation concert wouldn’t affect the 1 month cooldown period for a normal concert. 

Nope, I held more elections than that but still couldn’t unlock the other broadcast methods. But it’s apparently been fixed in the new update, so I’ll check it out :)

Well... Hopefully it's fixed in the next update.

Solo careers would be great. The option to offer a graduating member a solo contract would make so much more sense than offering them a job working for the company.

So many great suggestions in this thread, I hope some of them can be implemented in the future, especially the possibility of releasing albums.

Not sure if this is a bug, but I'm unable to unlock the broadcast methods for the elections. The only one available is live blog and it's already my 3rd election.

Totally agree. I love the game but the ability to release PVs and albums would make it a hundred times better.

I got a weird bug where all of sudden my graduated idols started reappearing in my active idols' relationships (only their name tho, no picture which somehow makes it even weirder lol.) One of my active idols was even dating a graduated idol, after the latter left the group.

Not game breaking by any means, just a bit strange!
