Ahhh, this is excellent. I've been hoping to learn how to write interactive fiction and this is great inspiration!

So this is a weird one. I started up my game, added some idols to the 'push', and then noticed that time was frozen in place--neither the day or the task bars (like business proposals, projects, etc) were moving at all. Saved and quit, reloaded the game, and found that it was running fine, so I added the idols back into the push...and...nope, paused again. Took them out, still paused. Saved and quit the game, went back into the game, time was moving as normal, one of my tasks completed fine, etc, so I'm pretty sure it's somehow tied into putting the idols into push? I've used pushes without issue before now, though.

Cool. Thanks for explaining it!

Just a note, I was having the same problem and this worked great for me, but I also had to edit the auto_save file to save my hiatus'd idol--I think because I used "save and quit" when I quit out of the game before editing the save files. So, yeah, if anyone tries this and it doesn't work, I'm guessing editing both the manual AND auto save will do the trick.

Ohhhh that makes sense. So if I'm playing a woman I should go after girls that like boys until the bug is fixed?

I'm a woman but got rejected by one of my idols because she only liked women (?? I assumed it said she DIDN'T like women until I saw it on her profile card later) and then she dated one of the other idols lol.

I just had to force the game to quit because I got an empty dialogue, myself. I think this is my log? For context I have 10 idols, the only rooms/staff I currently have are my office, two managers, and the break room, and I just launched an internet show a few days before the dialogue started up.

I've been thinking the game would be great on some sort of portable device--glad to hear they're going to work on a Switch port, I think it'll fit really well on that system!
