Amazing! The single thing this game needs is maybe a control scheme centered around wasd, maybe space and shift? Or left mouse and right mouse? Otherwise, awesome job! This'll win for sure.
Snappy controls, nice audio, high polish... great job! one of my favorites.
Very cool entry, the flat style and movement mechanics are great. The walls feel a bit too sticky for me, but thats just a nitpick. You've also put some effort into accessibility, mostly by explaining the game, which is nice. Feels pretty polished, good job!
Thanks for playing! The accessibility were actually added out of necessity as we playtested, we wanted it to be fun for everyone while not holding back those were familiar with the genre.
Good point on the wall. The more I play it myself, the more I wish the walls weren't sticky too, kinda stops the flow. Definitely gonna rework it when I get the time.
Incredibly fun and feels great to play, not much else to say, amazing job!
the movement feels incredibly good and fast-paced, perfect for a cat platformer :) really nice minimalist art style and sound. the cat laying down when idle is so cute <3
some of the levels are a bit challenging, but that's the fun part! it kinda gives celeste-y vibes in a way. really nice submission, i absolutely understand why it's so popular on the discord lol
Very fun! I suck and platformers and usually find them frustrating, but I had such a blast playing this I even tried it again to improve my time (2:32 is best I could do). Controls feel very intuitive and the game is really well made!
Only sad thing is that I didn't participate in this jam so I can't vote for your submission, but it was really good!
Really fun little game!
I'm pretty terrible at it, but! That doesn't change the fact that it is super responsive and really well done. Excellent job you two!
This was a lot of fun. Gameplay was smooth and the relaxing music really sets the atmosphere. The minimalistic graphics are really well done and deserve praise. Its amazing how just having a little bit of drop shadow really improves basic shapes.
I appreciate the accessibility controls offering some options to make it easier as well as having a good tutorial to ramp up difficulty.
Brilliant game! Tutorial was great, learning curve was spot on, and appreciated the quick level restarts when you die. Would love joystick (controller) support, too.
what a clean and cool little game! can only agree with previous comments. Would have loved the music to be a bit louder since the game felt really quiet most of the time. I had a lot of fun with this experience. Congratulations.
This gave me serious Celeste/Hollow Knight vibes, the controls were SO SATISFYING! I love how you introduced the pounce mechanic as well, very tasteful level design. The pixel art animation was also smooth and satisfying (especially the wall cling) and the pause menu was intuitive and refreshingly minimal. Amazing job with this game!
Amazing game—really easy to understand, but hard to master. I spent about half an hour trying to get sub 1 min, but my best was still 1:10.
The controls feel amazing, and the addition of the pounce adds a gentle complexity that is well-explored in the level design. The combination of the pounce + jumps is also very elegant. Congratulations!
