Playing faster will get you a better score so that's probably a good thing :)

Not moving the character mid-air was a purposeful choice as we wanted the fate of the player once they had been launched to be up to the skill of the initial jump. We took inspiration in this choice from other games in the same genre but it could be interesting to play with going forward and see if it creates a more fun or rewarding experience.  This will need a lot more testing of course to get the right game feel. We're hoping to make the timing and precision of the jumping easier and more precise so hopefully that may help give the player the agency that its missing at the moment.

We definitely need to work on the jump having a high precision. The error comes down to a poor understanding of Godot's physics system and we will be working on it to make that timing be a decent bit more forgiving. Hopefully you can give it another shot once we've made the changes and see if you can get any further :)

an interesting idea. We hadn't considered that. We'll definitely give that a try going forward to see how it feels!

Ah that makes sense thank you for clarifying!

Simply incredible

Very good art direction however the gameplay was slightly lacking. I felt aiming the trashcans became too difficult and it was a lot easier to not worry about them and just attack the enemies.

First ghost was placed oddly. Wasn't sure how to get around it. Interesting art though. Would like to see the rest of the game.

Needed to be expanded. Concept was interesting but poorly executed

Simple little clicker game. Cute and fun.

I really liked the cheat code system but it felt like two very different games tacked on together. Over all though I really enjoyed guessing what the secret codes were

Interesting but definitely needs a lot more work

A very original concept with a lot of fun potential. The graphics and artstyle and sounds are adorable.

Very calming and cute.

Clean visuals. Very fun movement. Was a lot of fun!

I feel like the mechanic of rotating as you jump is interesting but was very hard to figure out how to do correctly. Asides from that you guys win for cutest title screen I love the little paw and the audio was great :)

A super cute visually amazing game with a nice soundtrack. however the game did have some small issues where the cat wouldn't go to the correct square. I was a little confused about what the goal of the game was, was it to knock over everything find something or get a certain point? Overall though the animation was fantastic and visually the game was great. Wonderful job!

A classic example of a runner. Simplistic I think more work could have gone in visually and some audio would have been nice but the game play feels very precise and fair. Never felt like a death was unfair or wasn't my fault which was nice. The overall gameplay loop was entertaining and I could see people playing this on loop for high scores.

Fun game! I think the cats click boxes could have been a bit bigger but asides from that the games a really awesome simple submission.

Didn't really understand what was happening or how the game worked. I think this just suffered from needing a lot more time.

Interesting take on the Vampire Survivors format. Swapping between levels was a bit weird I'd often die while having 1-3 hearts left? Does swapping levels do damage to the player? The weapons were fun and seeing them scale in power was satisfying. The dogs were fun challenges and the bats could easily swarm you if you weren't careful. Overall very fun.

A clever idea but kinda confusing. For my first game I couldn't find the enemy so I spent a while meandering around the map until apparently we won. On my second playthrough I found the enemy spawn and stood there shooting it until we won. I feel like the game just needed more. More units or things happening. Asides from that though the controls were really sharp and the AI seemed clever with some units following the player while others did their own thing.

I liked this and there was definitely a vision however the gameplay was lacking some much needed complexity. Maybe tying the direction of the attack to the left click. Having the enemies have some way to over come the players positioning because as it stands the game can be won by standing in front of the enemies and simply left clicking. Overall though the game was charming and the reveal of Cleo being a real cat was sweet. Good job!

I really liked this! The music and aesthetics were great my only criticism is I wish there was a visual representation of the photo I had just taken or some way to know my photo was successful visually rather than just an audio queue. Aside from that I loved it

I really liked the graphics. The visual and sound were amazing but the gameplay was slightly too fiddly. It was hard enough to get the cat to hit the right keys but with the baby chasing it became way too difficult.

Best game I've every played would click again

Pretty cool. Visuals were really nice and loved the Undertale like combat. Felt a little repetitive and the encounters started to feel slightly annoying after a while. But overall very fun!

So glad you liked it!

Thanks so much!

We spent a lot of time working on balancing so this means a lot thanks!

That genuinely means a lot thanks so much!

thanks!

thanks!

Mouse movement was something we considered early on but decided to scrap. If we do an update or continue to work on this we could give it a go and see :).

Thank you so much!
